I use a GTX970M video card with 6GB of video memory, but when I access the game console, it says (about) 1900MB of VRAM (but I have 6GB). How can i fix this? Does this bug affect performance? I run the game with the lowest graphic settings available, FHD resolution and I get just 25-35 FPS.
(Other specs: i7-6700HQ, 8GB RAM DDR4 Laptop)

I have similar problem! I hope it will be ok soon, i can fix it and play

Yeah I have the same problem. 1080ti telling me it has 6gb Vram.

Does it say that is the total VRam? Does the number ever change? It could just be the VRam that is being used.
It says dedicated VRAM, which is the amount the system is allowed to use, to my understanding. Bear in mind I’m no expert, I’ve only recently delved into the subject.
i have a GTX1060 6gb and it says 1956MB aswell but my MSI afterburner says 3300MB in use.

I’ve also that if you scroll up in the console, you’ll see a line, beneath which the game will list all video adapters. In said list, the correct dedicated VRAM is indicated (or neatly so, 8088 as opposed to 8192 to be accurate, but I guess something must be left out).
Please, if someone gets an update from the developers let us know.
I’ve looked yesterday I have a gtx 970 4GB
and it used all the memory I have… so no Problem on my side but its still a bug probably
have you some solution yet? I have similar problem…

i have no idea what all this means but if i scroll further up in the console it says “dedicated video memory: 6052MB” and the game runs pretty well. im not on a hunt for solutions i just enjoy the game.
afterburner says 3-4GB memory usage so i think its working as intended !?
I can confirm (looking at GPU monitor), KCD is only using 2GB of my card’s 6GB of VRAM, as reported in the console. This is a pretty serious, and inexcusable, bug.

It detects 4gb out of 8gb vram (1080 gtx). I don’t think the game even uses the full 4gb “detected” eithe more like 2-3gb.

after patch 1,25 is running well on my pc, but in console still says 2 gb…
