So I’m about to get home where my just arrived copy of the game awaits, ready to be installed on the Xbox One X. But I would like to know, should I wait until friday when the Day One patch supposedly drops. Is the game ok as it is right now or should I wait?

Phenomenal. I took vacation Friday and Monday just to stay home alone and play.
Huge adjustment compared to other games.
Even with all the little bugs, i give it a solid A.

But great game. Playing since days on Xbox One X. Its challenging and a little bit glitchy but damn I love it. And not as far as buggy as some are screaming around.
Finally I mastered lockpicking and archery which is not that easy with gamepad. But its all a question of practice and I love how you have to think outside the box to solve some quests. Sometimes it’s bad UX decisions - sometimes it’s good old RPG game-design.
Since I play in Germany, I tried the german language. Normally I use to play in OV/english but here, even when the german audio-mix is sometimes buggy right now, if you play in English you might think, you with King Arthur in Britannia and not in Bohemia.
Playing on the Xbox One S here with 58hrs in. I’ve experience only a few minor bugs. Really not sure why everyone is experiencing what they are. Perhaps more bugs are on the pc which is due to multiple configurations and hardware and such. Every Xbox one S is the same so I’d expect everyone in my boat to experience the same.
On Xbox X it’s great overall. My lip sync is off, top half of facial animations is limited or non-existent. I can’t get the lock picking sorted (patch coming).
I agree. Even playing on the original Xbox One only a few very minor glitches. Every game no matter the developer has bugs and for their first release incredible delivery. Especially considering they made their own path.
I’m playing on a standard Xbox one and about 50% of the characters don’t have faces. Can see straight into the back of the helmet/hair. Also don’t have voice sound for about 90% of the dialog. And cut scenes are hit and miss whether they play or not.
I haven’t heard anything like this reported. I think that I just got the short straw. Hoping the new patch in two weeks will fix it.
58 hours?? Damn man I’m glad you’re enjoying the game, but do you sleep at all?
A few here and there up to 60-62 hrs now
Hey since you have a lot of XP in the game… Are you able to crouch and loose your bow, while maintaining stealth mode (does Henry stand with the draw back)?
When I draw my bow I come out of crouch, I also have zero level in stealth and haven’t bothered to check if that’s an unlockable perk, sorry.
