Given the time period of the KC it would be possible to have Zawisza the Black, knight and friend to Polish and Hungarian kings, as a NPC.
For those who are not familiar with Zawisza the Black it is enough to say that he was one of the greatest if not the greatest knight in late 14th and early 15th century, a true example of knightly virtues and quite a badass. Wikipedia will not tell you much about him but you might find some other sources.
A good idea. Maybe for a later Act of the game.

If you are french then clearly Marshal Boucicault is the greatest.
If your english then William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke.
Or Sir John Hawkwood… one of the few likly cases of a commoner who worked his way up to high nobility by his sword. (likely since we actually don’t know of his family or birth… but that makes it rather likely that he was not a noble)
Edvard III, Edward of Woodstock and Henry V are all pretty cool guys who fought personally on the frontline. (at one or more points of their life)

Wikipedia will tell you a lot about Knight. In Poland, there is a saying: “Rely on the Zawisza” So Who will throw all the country in need.
