I’m at the end of the game. I’m supposed to meet Capon out by Neuhof for the final cutscene. But, before that I wanted to get my main level to 20 so I’ve been running around doing side quests. I’m running out of things to do but I noticed a gold star “quest giver” icon on zora at the horse stables in neuhof. She apparently is supposed to give me the horse race quest, but the only dialog options I get are to buy a horse the normal trade option. If it matters, my rep in Neuhof is 63. Is that too low to get the dialog option, or have I missed something?
ignore this. see below.
Not sure but you may have gone way way to far past the race quest which come around the ginger in a pickle quest. The Vranik part did warn that some quest may not be done or finished after entering.
Yeah, I forgot about that Vranik statement. That’s probably it.
So I’ve done a bunch of side quests and so far they don’t seem to be worth my time. Rarely will I get a monetary reward and most of the time it just kinda ends and everyone moves on with their lives. I just did the quest at the Monastery “In God’s Hands” and not only did I bust my ass running around the country side trying to save these poor bastards but I, the lowly son of a blacksmith, personally oversaw the health and recovery of these people. And the only reward I got was to get chad’d by Baron Von Fuckface who threw me in jail and for Johanka to take his side over mine. Not saying the whole town needs to throw me a parade but something a step above “aite, thanks” would be nice.
But that seems to be par the course for side quests. I did another quest where my reward was I got to fuck a horse with locking picking mini game. Is that what the reward is supposed to be? Funny and interesting character interactions?
you do realize that was a drug induced fantasy trip ala LSD?
LSD? LSD requires to be synthesized in a lab grade environment. They would not even be close to accidentally creating it during the games era.
I remember during the quest the old lady said it contained Deadly Nightshade so I believe it is actually this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_ointment
It contains Scopolamine in one of the alkaloids in an ingreedient. If you don’t know what that is, this is how I found out about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToQ8PWYnu04
Do you know what the phrase “ala” means? ; LIKE of, as a comparison to. I never said it WAS LSD the effects WERE LIKE LSD. being the closest I can suppse the effect of such an hallucination to be.
Ah sorry about that.
