Rain is at times still the “space invaders” rain.
But not having a bright sun during thunder is such an improvement.

The missile command rain and rain during clear skies have been reported. WH response (May 4th): we are aware of this issue and we are investigating it.
I have not played in months, Is the rain fixed on Ps4 Pro? Also, Does this game look and run better on Xbox One X?
Not sure about PS4 pro iceking, but I got some jizzy rain on PS4 at night.
