let me just say im not one for bitching and moaning…but i am fcking fuming!
i like this game, like the lockpicking, the combat, its a bit easy but its fine,
now i was looking forward to this game and preordered it which i havent done in prolly ten years (ps4 btw)
and i wasent expecting a perfect game, these games are usually a bit buggy at first and thats fine,
now after having 4 quests bug out so i couldent complete them (which i hate) i thought sod it and carried on in hopes of 1.03 …but things got worse…
much longer loading times, crazy texture and graphic glitches,
maybe my horse was too fast but ratty took about 20 seconds to fully load everytime i arrived there at full speed…
then the freezes and crashes started…prolly had this happen about 3 -4 times after 50 hours of game play,
btw at this point i was keeping my amounts of saves to about 5…in hopes this would help
yesterday…spoke to radzig for a quest…and it froze…so i thought screw it ill try again tomorrow…
today…save file corrupt…all saves gone…F&&&&&&&&K!!!
NOT HAPPY…so now after playing the game everyday since it arrived (feb 14?)
its gone…into the ether of nothingness… 
so what now, do i start again hoping it wont do it again…
do i wait untill…whenever for 1.03, in hopes it will not happen again…
do i get a refund (which i dont really wanna do)
please fix this game!!
right now i wanna punch a horse in the face!

I have many of those issues on PS4 Pro. So far (thank god) I haven’t lost any progress, and only had 3 crashes, but to be honest if I lose the game save at this stage after this many hours of play I will be getting a refund. I hope it doesn’t happen but I don’t see what other option I’d have, its not like I’m going to play another 60-70 hours on the off chance it doesn’t all disappear again…

this bug is Playstation specific
It is a known bug and they said it will get fixed with 1.3 (PS version 1.05)
1.3 will be probably finalized today for PC which means it will be available approx. 1 week later for playstation (due to sony’s validation)
for loosing 90hours you handle it pretty well

I to know your pain my original over 100 hours of play just gone!! I experienced a crash one day reloaded game and all my saves were gone. Only save that still existed was the run quest where I had to escape talmberg to bury my parents and let me say I was long long long long long long long past that. I then proceeded to start there and when I got to rattay and got challenged by hans in archery I had a wired invisible arrow glitch. Thinking it was just that contest that was glitched I continued on. Got to prey quest and realized my arrows were still invisible reloaded and no change. Restarted whole game on new save file and haven’t had any invisible arrows but damn this game has bugs and I’m on Xbox and we only just got patch 1.2.5 today

PS4 here as well. I’ve only had the occasional glitch here and there; sorry that things have escalated for you. Texture loading has been pretty quick for me but there are times that the rain textures turn into what looks like an 8-bit render.

Best thing I can suggest to prevent losing your progress is to manually upload your save to the cloud.

I play on PS4 as well. I make sure I back up my saves.
If you know PS4 saves are getting corrupted, why are you not backing them up daily or even a couple times a day for the time being?
This is not to excuse the issue, but until it’s fixed you need to take precautions if you’re going to keep playing the game.
how do you back up save? i dont have cloud, i live in the sticks and only have like 2mbps internet…
You could always plug a USB stick into the front of the console and back up saves to that.

yeah ill just BUY something else so i can try to play a game i already BOUGHT…no…i dont think so

You can get a 32 GB flash drive for under $15 (16 GB for under $10) and if you ever need to back up other things on the PS4, like entire lists of save files for reformatting or inserting a larger HDD, you’ll need that anyway.
If you’re spending $60 on games and you don’t care to spend a few more bucks on a physical drive to give you some back-ups because you live in an area where it’s not feasible to use cloud service…I guess that’s your problem, then.
You saying you don’t even have a flash drive already at all?

Wait, if you only have 2 mbps of internet how did you manage to download the day 1 update?
what im doing is waiting for the game to be fully fix bugs,graphics and all to play it i just recieve my horse i have lvl 22 with most skills and perks at lvl 15 and 25k groches i have heard of this many times that i dont want to lose what i have so for rigth now im just killing time with my old pal darksouls
If you back up your saves, you don’t have to wait.
maybe you can afford to just throw cash at problems but not everyone can! and thats not the point anyway if you pay full price for a product you expect that product to work correctly, not have to buy more things in hopes that it might work the way it should. like i said i my first post i dont normally pay full price for games coz i think they cost too much nowadays so i usually wait 6 months or so for a drop in price but for this game i thought screw it and its just broke my heart a little bit more stress than fun. i rememebr the days when you could just buy a game put it in (without downloading a 20g update) and erm no i dont think i do have a spare flash drive strangely enough the ones i have i use but since you seem to be so wealthy you can always buy me one if ya like 
it took about 13 hours…
Edit: just saw your reply. Then uploading the save file will not be anywhere close to that bad. We’re trying to give you work arounds but you don’t want them and that is fine. I’d be pissed, too if I had these problems but if they are working on it and you’re getting some advice on a temporary solution I really don’t think you situation is as bad as you’re making it out to be.
