Skyrim had snow capped mountains. Some of the things weren’t in original Skyrim
Fishing spot outside of Sasau has fish swimming in water
Beyond all that so what?
That list of features were all in base game Skyrim. KCD, godfather of all RPGs realistic, completely lacks all of those game play features. And it’s supposed to be the superior game?
But then again, this explains it all…
OP better off playing Dark Souls…
Or better yet Skyrim
Or maybe both. Either way, they would be getting better value for their buck, accomplish a lot more AND be far less stressed out
Better is subjective. Skyrim was a good to great game. Pre-ordered it. Enjoyed every minute of it. Will never play remastered version or play any of its mods.
WH has already said not planning console mods. If so, I’ll play thru a few more times. If WH changes its mind, I’ll buy all DLC… and maybe a new console.
To each his own. KCD is different. If I want Bethesda dragons and daedra, I’ll wait till the next Elder Scrolls. Till then, something different
Now as far as the grousing: To expect a start up would pack as much content into its maiden game as industry player’s fifth installment is one of the following: irrational optimism, ignorant consumerism, or self indulgent trolling
Since you played the original legacy Skyrim, then there is no need to play Skyrim remastered/SSE. It’s an extremely inferior clone of the original and lacks the extensive, 40k+ tested and vetted mod suite the original has. SSE was designed to give console gamers a superior HD 4K texture game world which PC gamers expect at minimum of a AAA release. And ultimately to give console community access to mods which the PC community has always taken for granted. It’s a good thing you didn’t waste your money on this if you were on console (as PC gamers got SSE for free).
I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make here. Mods and DLC aren’t the same thing. DLC is an official dev extension of the game. Mods improve/overhaul/fix this vanilla content. Not planning to release console mods means they have no intention of following Bethesda in creating a universal mod sharing site for all platforms. This has nothing to do with what sources (Steam, retail etc) any future planned DLC may be released from in the future.
Yes and yes. I’m royally pissed the #$%@!%#! off the 1.3.1 patch did nothing to address the game breaking bugs or texture pop out on my system. This update has managed to end up breaking more features that didn’t require fixing. Yes it is. IMO with this update release, the game has successfully earned the category trophy for most dysfunctional, hot F@cking mess ever for recent AAA release.
DLC and mods are extended play in ways not available in original release. The intent of both is effectively the same: keep user hooked longer
Bugs are annoying. But we knew this from day one or two of KCD. This is going to take a while to clean up. Last week, I said to someone walk away 2 months. Too emotionally wound up in KCD gameplay investment (hours, etc)? time to walk away. Come back when not so hot (if at all).
To me, $60 isn’t worth getting emotionally over. They got my money. I’m not going to let their stupid game or Bethesda’s or EA’s make me lose my mind even if they duped me with
. Just won’t give ‘em money next time.
Btw, it’s sunrise and watching fishes (perch… even though trout in trap; another glitch - perch yellow w green bars and raised dorsal fin; trout silver w/o raised dorsal fin) swimming around next to fish trap next to Miller Peshek’s place. Before I fu€k off for another glitchy battle somewhere, I’m gonna watch ‘em a little more.
Try sleeping in the last bed that you saved in. Also sleeping in the camps around rattai could fix the problem. The same for me yesterday.
