you’re literally asking them to dumb down the game for you while simultaneously saying this game isn’t hard. just a little self awareness will help you in life.

Make the game equally difficult, is it easyer for you to understand that way or what?i should go in details

Make it easy at the beginning and harder in the end, instead of the opposite.

Maybe they should make the fighting system hard like the lockpick in the beginning. Like one hit you are DEAD. All you pro’s are gonna like it. Thats hardcore from my point of view

Make it easier at the beginning and harder at the end.say what? That be the stupidest fooking game ever. That’s the kind of game you can buy a fucking lootbox that has a diamond lockpick for 5 bucks before you start the game.

You are describing here every other generic hand holding gaming experience. Seriously gtfo with that bullshit.

How about this. You don’t go buying games like this or dark souls and start complaining they don’t follow the exact formula of every ubisoft game released in the last 10 years.

The reason most people bought into a game like this is because they were sick of the market being dominated and dictated by the exact hand holding bleh games … And you expect them to turn around and make this into.

The combat needs more balancing that is it.

I don’t want to gain up on anyone, but really rpgs never really get harder toward the end. They scale with the player kinda. For instance the stats of the last boss are much stronger than the first, but you’ve leveled up and geared up so the challenge stays the same.

Well Said.

I agree with that, but KCD is meant to be a realistic medievil game…

It’s just unrealistic that you can bash countless waves of enemies while wearing shorts. No matter what point in the game you may have reached such things should not be that easy.

What, praytell are you talking about? If youre talking about it getting so easy that you can kill waves of men without armor in kcd, i have not encountered such extremity. I did notice that top tier swords are too over powered, so i switched to a page sword. But even with plate armor and many perks such as ā€œagainst all oddsā€, i have to be careful and block and take my time agsinst bandits

Maybe youā€˜re just unskilled :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Lol ok id like to see a video of you killing multiple armored bandits, specifically in later parts of the quest not wearing armor and using page sword

Man im not about to argue about that… look it up on YouTube… you can use your raw fists or simple wooden clubs as well

Typical if I read these posts here. As soon as somebody says something about this game that could need some improvement (to their own opinion), all others start attacking this person for his opinion. He suddenly is a casual gamer (wich for these supreme, die hard gamers on their high horse is inferior - get a life!).

I agree with this part; I love games that are hard and need some practice, that makes you fail and try again. I’m a big fan of the Arma series (when it was Operation Flashpoint I already loved them) and consider those games a lot harder than this KCD. It needs a lot more skills, a lot more knowledge of the game to be any good or even survive. Still, KCD needs to slim it down a bit when it comes to silly mini games. There is no point in making small, insignificant tasks a pain in the ass. Like brewing potions, I mean, what the hell? Why waist my time doing that? Or sharpening a blade? I get why they want it in it, but make it simple to do. Focus on the fighting, the conversations, etc to be hard, let you think and with a certain learning curve.
Just my opinion, feel free to judge me on it…

O, to piss off the die-hards a bit more; what is wrong with a difficulty setting and options? Why not make the game accessible for casual gamers, while keeping the possibility for others to play extreme hard (yes sword goes both ways, can make it harder then it is)? Should work out perfect for everybody.

Lol so you haven’t done it. There are two probabilities to the video you’ve seen. Either the youtuber was insanely good and pulled off amazing gamesmanship or he was using mods

The mini games can get boring after awhile, but they include perks to auto unlock , auto brew. As far as repairing swords you can buy repair kits, or have blacksmith repair it. You can also buy potions. All these minigames and hardness are there to increase immersion and slow you down from becoming too OP too fast.

Ill post a video for you when i get the chance. Im an average gamer. Curenttly doing a naked run using the merchants sword for a weapon. Difficulty stayed ok and relatively the same till about level 8 the everything dies in 1 riposte or stab. You do have to back pedal a bit when taking a group’s but you in no way need to be good parrying etc…

Lol that is completely innacurate for me. Ill hit guys 5 times that have decent armor. 16 str and 16 swords

It’s very easy already. People who are complaining have not actually tried to level up their lockpicking skills.

  • really enjoying the game. beautiful on the ultra settings
  • looking forward to seeing what you will get patched in the game?
  • A little disheartening when quests don’t work -but- there is just so much to see, find & do… if i can come back to these quests later… i think it is all good.
    P.S.
I also hope that future dlc’s will expand the storyline and maybe even fight some of the mythical monsters found in the sage’s of the time…??
