As I just wrote, I don’t want to close it, I just want to know if the community wants to have it closed as the first comments on that subject were not working as you might have expected. The way Kojima provided that feature in that scene was just like a funny moment. Also the way he made that jeep “disappear” was more of a joke than actual realism. So I’m wondering if you’re trying to be as funny as Kojima and emphasise more on that certain joke than he did or if you seriously want to know more about the possible use of manure in the game.

If someone has good ideas, I’m welcoming them to join the conversation. But I don’t want to see those red flags in the upper right corner flashing all the time because the discussion consists of verbal diarrhea. So instead of acting like a uber mighty moderator making topics disappear, I’m offering the community an option and you are also part of the community, which means you have a chance to make a change as @Flashfire got to let you know in his first comment about the topic.

wasn’t it mentioned horses will poop? or maybe i’m conflating things. to be honest, the pooping in mgs5 seems gimmicky. like a “hahaha” feature with stupid gameplay mechanics(make cars spin out. wtf)

What question comes next? Are there gay animals? Do all npc real poo to? Will be a Timetravel maschine there?

I’m with you!
This is a very good idea! And I have a another possibility with the poop, it can say something like if the animals is near the zone or very far, what animal is etc etc that’s a important information for the hunters, no?

I think time for alpha has come so we have new things to talk about.

and to answer this topic: I dont think we need to get this far in terms of realism.

But will the horse need to eat something? That may be a more interesting question.
Without eating first it wont be able to poop
In my opinion the horse should have stamina but shouldnt feel any hunger. At least you dont have to care about that.
I dont think it would be fun if you have to ride away fast and your horse isnt able to cause its hungry.
Would be nice though if its just eating independently if it is waiting somewhere… and here we are again… will it poop?!

Animal scat particularly fresh ones are the best indication there is a animal in the area…

And @pagerocker since im lazy i dont want to make another post: you sir are ignorant there are homosexual animals in the world, Humans included.

P.s i dont think your pray the gay away campaign will work.

I talk only about a rpg! I Dont care about gay , poo, fart and Other Stuff in a GAME.

THEASE things Are the last for me i need in a GAME.

So dont say that iam ignorant about this things.

I make a Differenz between reallife And a pc game.

Maybe this can be funny in a GAME But first prior should be the mainstuff in a rpg and not such things.

And i have gays at work and in the suroundings of my friends.and i DONT have a Problem with anybody…

If Warhorse has the resources to spend on such a feature, sure, why not. If not, well, let them worry about the important stuff and community will take care of the manure. I’ve had fun searching for that shit.

May be if there is some quest that we need to track some enemies in the wild, then pooping horses can be usefull in order to follow the track. If there is not this kind of mission, then I think this feature is not really mandatory.
Same for the Hunting feature, we could localize animals by finding excrement.
But I don’t know how deep the dev want to go for those tracking feature.
As the map is not that big (compared to reality, 9km2 is not a big area), I even not sure that there will be any of those features

I honestly interpreted the OP as harmless humour…

Just to investigate the full import of your stance, you’re happy to hack limbs off people but you would, on the whole, prefer not to deal with anything unsettling - like sex or toilet humour…

Well… that did it. Now I’m voting for Butt Stallion and I wasn’t even playing!

@OP: Planet Explorers has you collecting manure, but it’s pretty clinical in that it just appears, complete with noxious fumes…

initially i really meant it as not-serious, pre-alpha stress releaving topic, but i somehow forgot how “dark” the internets can be for others; or how the hyperbole can be taken into so many different ways, especially if someone is speaking about something we (and also other species) do a lot on daily basis, but “smells” a bit

my next topic/question will probably explore a bit more regarding “accessibility” of cow udders for milk production (mhmm, gopher milk!) etc.

of course all these are the most critical features that i would expect in such game (wink wink, nudge nudge…)

and one has to childishly ask - define “Action” ?!

E.g. in a great book “How I Won the War” - in one of the chapters, the main character had to defend himself and his unit from a vicious “human waste” attack!
