Anyone else alittle paranoid of knife attacks?

I don’t think its rocket science using a knife. You stab someone in the chest with a 12 inch knife its going to do a lot damage.

right so many things you dont understand . the terrorist aim is TOO die he wants to be taken down in a hail of bullets he aims for mytardom .

it does not take much to check out the door to the roof of the apartment you live on a kick the door in or threaten and kill the care taker . remember the aim of the terrorist is not too kill hundreds his aim is to cause fear and terror . due to living in a country where guns are everywhere it wouldnt be hard for him to learn how to shoot a high powered rifle well . think about the Washington sniper . remember

my reply to that is simple … the USA has one of the highest crime rates in the world .
china has restricted gun laws like most sensible nations and with a population 4 times bigger than yours has a lower homicide rate … thats my response to that .
unfortunately the USA is too deep and i would agree with the USA present situation youd be better off owning a gun . but as a nation you should aim to be a nation that doesnt require it .

i think this shows my point perfectly

The Washington sniper was what prompted the creation of swat. Back then we only had police armed with pistols. If his aim to kill hundreds of people and cause mass panic then a bomb would be a much better choice. You talking about knives exactly proves my point of how dangerous they really are. There are many more things we can do in our country to drop murder rates other than ban guns. 1 illegal immigration we have over 14,000 illegal immigrants roaming around our country unchecked. 2,000 people a year are murdered by an illegal immigrant. Take care of the illegal immigration issue and that shaves of a lot. 2. Black people. I highly suggest you watch the video i linked above with piers Morgan debating the black guy. 3. gangs. A large portion of murders are done by gangs we need to get rid of them.

no im not getting through to you am i ISIS tactics are to cause fear not kill they are very different to al queada they may plan a few bomb attacks but they normally get foiled by intelligence as they require to much planning and instructions on making the bomb .
ISIS also have not called for attacks on civilians . they have instructed their followers to carry out lone wolf strikes on police and soliders . just small simple strikes that they can carry out without any instructions making them undetectable . e.g running up and stabbing or shooting a police officer causing mass panic then going down screaming "SNACKBARR " as they get filled with bullets . that their goal simple as . if you plan to treat them as al queada you’re in for a huge shock

china has huge gang problems and huge poverty issue and huge illegal immigrant issues . they still have a lower murder rate than the USA

while i completely agree immigration is a huge problem for both our countries as i have stated before i am right winged on the scale of things but im no extremist

Ill be voting UKIP in the election here in the UK

Hmm according to this china has a very similar murder rate to us and they banned guns… Lets also not forgot the corrupt rule of Mao Zedong who banned fire arms and was responsible for the death of 45 million people. The Washington shooter was also a former marine not some untrained Islamic dude who just bought a gun that is hard to operate. http://www.thecommentator.com/article/3644/britain_wants_its_guns_back
Just a fun little poll.
I’m willing to bet ISIS would bring their own guns here not buy them here. They could easily get into the U.S with a gun because our border sucks ass. They could cross the border and run into a populated area with their Aks instead of making this elaborate plan to buy a berret and get on a building.

I would say that this example is the exception rather than the norm though. Yes there is always a risk that a wound can kill you but the likelihood is lower than many anti-gun activists would have you believe. People have died in surgery at civilian hospitals, state of the art centers, during mundane operations. Humans aren’t as tough as action heroes but that being said, gunshots are not the most dangerous wound one could encounter.

Short story, they train us to deal with danger and, if you don’t lose your head (metaphorically) during a crisis, many deaths can be prevented. Besides, the fear of death is good only as long as it doesn’t make you a danger to yourself and the people around you. If not fearing bullets enables an individual to operate in a hostile environment (at an effective level), is that really a bad thing?

Exactly the guy in the Aurora shooting managed to hit 70 people and only 12 of them died.

yes china has 13,000 murders a year with a population of over one BILLION around 0.8 per 100,000 . the usa has 14,000 a year with a population of around 350 MILLION and the currently on 5 murders per 100,000

shocking really

When i tried to say population had an affect on crime earlier you tried to shut me down and say it was nonsense.

you should always fear death as it allows you too keep fighting . gun shots are not the worst no but they should always be treated as a severe injury

when did i ? …

ISIS wont be coming to the US . you clearly dont follow many world events .
american born supporters of ISIS will be carrying out the attacks the guy who attacked in canada was candian was born in canada

Right here( 20 characters)

if and when the US goes againt a proper army who are also trained to shoot to kill you will see the difference in casualties
rather than some haji with a AK spraying in a general direction

.ISIS is in the U.S there is evidence of them coming across our open border and although they never took credit for it im willing to bet there the ones that put up the flag of surrender on the Brooklyn bridge and tore down the U.S one.

We lost relatively few people in desert storm and the Iraq war and we were facing proper armies.
