Anyone else alittle paranoid of knife attacks?

Alot of US troops killed themselves when they came home from Iraq.

There again with the anti American attitude. You are wrong i have met many U.S veterans and none of them have ever bragged about killing people. You would have fought along side American troops and shared a common enemy if you were actually there. So you would think you still wouldn’t have this unjust hatred towards the U.S. You have no reason to hate the United States many british people who served with the U.S in countless wars dont have petty hatreds towards them. And you completely admitted to killing people.

You said have shot at people in my 12 years of service and on more than one occasion i hit what i was aiming at.

Me or George?(20 characters)

Along with this little comment, US troops dont brag about killing people. My uncle Clint went on three tours to the middle east, coming back a little ore fucked up every time, and whenever we tried to ask him about it he would get really sad and tell us it didn’t matter. In the end, when he came home from his third tour, he shot himself in the garage while my aunt and cousin were at the store. If you truly did serve in the middle east, then i thank you for your service, But dont you dare insult his memory, and the countless others, with your generalizing you bastard.

yes , never said it killed them . i most likely have its irrelevant to be honest i did my job end of .

i have served alongside a US troops yes , lovely blokes but like most british troops my opinion is that a large chunk of US troops are cow boys , for example they see no issue running across an open field in the most heavily IED populated area without even checking their route , and im afraid its cost many lives

and im sorry for your loss , i have never known of anyone personally to be that bad to take their own life but i know of a few that suffer flash backs etc , i personally do not . affects everyone differently

Well, you have to admit that elite soldiers should keep their mouth shut about who they killed and where. Still, some think they have to air their secrets for money? fame? I know some German elite soldiers and law enforcement guys. They don’t tell their family what they do and where. For their own safety. However, some soldiers seem to lack this understanding of secrecy.

So much for “not bragging”. Sure, there are other countries and stories, but this one is the worst I have ever heard of in the recent years.

BS You lost around 445 troops we lost around 1000 we also had many more troops over there. If we just had men blindly running across IED infested fields we would have lost way more men.

Please tell me what elite soliders brag about them killing people?

1000 you sure ? might want to double check it , more like 2351 and RIP to every single one of them and all ISAF troops killed over their for nothing but greed .

im not saying every us soldier ran across a field blindly it was just an incident i recall as it stands out in my head as a "is this really happening " moment , none of them were killed but they could of been

I found the 16th air brigade actually. http://www.army.mod.uk/structure/28211.aspx

every person is different in how they handle something , some people find talking about it best other prefer to keep quite .
you find behind closed door most soldiers talk about it but chose not to talk openly about it to outsiders

According to you this lost us many lives but now you are saying that none of them were killed? Around 1000 U.S troops were killed. Around 1,000 pmcs lost their lives they dont count as the American military because they are mercs.

no 2351 US troops were lost PMC’s are not part of ISAF therefore never are involved in statistics

So if so many U.S troops lost their lives why are you so disrespectful to them? Americans have been dying side by side with Europeans for over 100 years and all they get for it is hatred and disrespect. We did not have to join you in ww1 we did not have to join you ww2 but we did and lost many men for it.We could have left you to fighting hitler while we beat the shit out of Japan single handedly but we didnt. So keep on hating but remember many U.S troops died for your country.

i have no hatred for US troops you are not listening my disrepair lies with the government for sending troops their in the first place when we achieved very little but lost so much .
i have the up most respect for anyone who has served out their but you will find alot share my views

you have just been feed bullshit but if you had ever seen the state of the place you would understand by point

For example the DEVGRU member who tapped Bin Ladin? The moment the news aired I was certain sooner or later the guy will spill the beans. Some soldiers, even Tier 1 operators, brag about their “(s)kills”. Only the true (silent) warriors know when to speak and when to remain silent. They do their job and don’t talk about it.

We have an trainee in our company that was in AStan with the German airborne regiment. He was over there when the Easter Massacre took place, best seat, first row: frontline. He does not want to fire a weapon again and he is not the type you would like to mess with. Still, he does not talk about his kill count.

My point being how Europeans despise Americans even though they owe much to use and how many Americans died for them. It pisses me off when you start saying U.S troops are idiot cowboys. Have some fucking respect. I hope one day you need us to help and i hope to god we sit back and watch your country burn.

The guy who killed bin ladin didn’t spill the beans. The day after the raid our dumbass president invited over 20 people from Hollywood and told them all the details about the raid. He pissed off a lot of military members that day and they pretty much told him to shut the fuck up. He went against protocol and he almost leaked the identities of the seal team who went on the operation it was our president who is responsible for that.
