I just went through a couple of weird incidents and I’m not really sure exactly what happend.
Incident 1
I was buying some items from the shopkeeper in Tamberg. I decided to try some haggling and we agreed on a price. Fine. I then decided to sell him something and did some haggling again. To my great surprise did the shopkeeper not only refuse to accept my selling offer but he also refused to speak to me any more which made quest progress impossible. I then decided to load a saved game and try again. This time he squealed like a pig when I tried haggle the first time and ran away… Two seconds later a guard came running and accused me of some sort of crime. Not sure what though. Is haggling illegal in Tamberg?
Incident 2
I went through the sword training with the Swords Master and everything went fine. Just as the training ended I was attacked by every soldier in the camp and killed instantly. Whats up with that? Is sword training illegal in Merhojed?
Note that I haven’t committed any crimes during this playthrough and my reputation in both Tamberg and Merhojed was pretty good. Is NPC behaviour like this a question of broken AI, a feature or a bug?
