If you are happy with the direction that EA has taken there franchises, Namely Mass Effect, Then I can see your point but disagree. Its people like you who were given a ground breaking game(Mass Effect 1/KCD) and then wine it into a Mass Appeal piece of crap. Sell your game and get over it FFS.
Ugh? Okay? No, it’s a great fucking game and I enjoy the fuck out of it. I was only saying that EA has a reputation LATELY that they haven’t put much effort into games, but the hype and on a different level it’s happened to this. A lot of what I see on this, is people saying how great the beta was when it came out. I only want the game to become better but I was only stating that, WH has yet to fix a lot of major bugs that people face, along with me. Love this game but I want the company to treat it like everyone else is, with lots of love and appreciation for it. That’s it. Take it down a notch man…
I’m beginning to think the xbox version can’t be fixed. If your still having the stuttering at this point there really isn’t much hope for you. If that is the case I think a refund is in order for you and I hope you get one. Microsoft made a decision when they made the xbox one that they were going to focus performance on the first person shooter genear. That was well documented at the time. If you like this type of game(KCD) then xbox realy isn’t the right system for you.
Then why they sell the game in consoles?? Is it some kind of scam? 
I’ve heard roomers that the xbox dev. kits preform differently than the home consoles. I don’t know if anyone’s been scammed or not. That’s between you, Microsoft and WH. But if you ask me I’d say you’ve got your apples in the wrong cart.
I play on a ps4 pro hooked up to a 4K Qled tv. Honest opinion. The game play is good, the story is fair and characters are interesting. I played about 130 hours so I stuck with it. I had one or two crashes in the early days and some bugged quests and npc not showing or stuck in loops. For the vast majority of my time the game was totally playable, I never experienced a huge unplayable issue except for their stupid patches that broke more than they fixed, fortunaly I had passed through those areas when they were playable.
The good: nice story, Henry is a good dude to play as, some nice rpg mechanics
The bad: it looks like shite on consoles. It’s not optimized at all for them. On ps4 it looks at its worst, ps4 pro slightly better. Xbox X seems to play it best but the have terrible camera shudder, I don’t seem to get that on my pro.
If you have not bought it yet but still wanna play, I suggest wait awhile till 1) it’s price has dropped and 2) till they optimize it better with further patches (that’s if they can actually do anything more).
It’s not worth it’s AAA price tag. But I did enjoy it from a story point of view, but graphically, it’s like playing a piss poor PC port.

No reason to wait on ps4 slim. I’v never had it shudder on me. If your used to the look of current high end PC’s I can see how you might be disappointed in the looks. But this game looks better than most of the games on ps4 and that is honest.

I only played it on xbox one X and i must say that the story is fun and the game play is good BUT i would not buy the game on console it was clearly made for PC. It’s either a really bad port or the consoles can’t handle the game because they aren’t as powerful (especially the weak CPU). The textures are the worst that i have ever seen on this generation, pop in is also severe. On top of that you will have to deal with quest breaking bugs a lot (like you are supposed to go to person X but the door is locked with an impossible lock (the game will tell you that you cant break or open it) so you are stuck and have to wait 7 days to magically unlock the door etc…
Also the game doens’t let you save at will, now that sounds good and exciting on paper but in reality it is extremly frustrating to play the same passages over and over and over and over again just because of an incredibly hard fight that you cant win and you have to walk 10 mins in the woods to even get to the place etc etc…
So no i would not recommend this game especially not on console !
If you want to give it a try then buy it on a sale on steam or something. The game has potential but it’s not worth it’s AAA price tag.
No offence dude, but really better looking than other ps4 games? Dude what games in your ps4 library do you have that look worse than KCD. Btw. I have a regular ps4 and a ps4 pro and the game looks far worse on the regular ps4. I have played/tested it on both consoles. Ps4 hooked up to a regular HD tv and on the pro hooked up to a 4K tv. Draw distance , low texture and poly counnt and popping are way worse the regular ps4 than on the pro. But just out interest what other ps4 games look worse than KCD ?
The pop-ins are distracting (vanilla PS4) but have no functional impact… so far. Navigating thru settlements on horseback needs work; we’ll see if the 1.5 optimization has enough impact.
The landscape is very different. Aside from some LOD flashes, navigating the countryside is a joy. FO4 with mods doesn’t hold a candle. Not even close even with seasons and environment mods by Andrewcx and others. This even as mods to eliminate lens flare need to be used to reduce sys performance issues. Even with zonal loading, FO4 has some pop-in issues and FPS rate issues. And, for the record, FO4 is one of my favorite PS4 games

Biohazard, Fallout 4, X-com, Mass Effect. I mostly play RPG’s And strategy games so if your thinking of FPS’s and action games then ya sure but then that’s comparing apples to oranges.

I have to agree and when other people write well game X also has terrible graphics and stutter then well what can i say…
I usually prefer console gaming but not with this game the difference between the console version (even xbox one X and ps4 Pro) and PC is just night and Day it’s like a different generation on consoles…

Yes and no to fo4. The ps4 pro update did make it better though. But look all devs make errors. CDPR just borked the Witcher 3 on ps4 pro. They added HDR but screwed up the draw diastance with the patch they released last week.
Yes but that will be fixed we know that it’s just a bug since HDR implementation doesn’t affect performance so there is no need for a downgrade. It ran fine before and it will run fine again. KCD on the other hand will probably never run fine on consoles.
No, it’s not “broken” on my vanilla PS4. Finished main quest, a few bugs, minor crashes, but have over 250 hours playtime in, and am enjoying the hell out of this game.

bought a ps4 pro to play the game, played since day 1, no regrets. a few hiccups in the first playthrough (had to once revert a few hours back to workaround a bug, it crashed a few times). In the current second playthrough, the experience haven’t noticed any bugs yet that would prevent me from finishing quests or similar.
