Yeah. I think being compared to murderous totalitarians set me off.

Ignore the SigsmundOfHungary now
@Blacksmith will take care of it.
Back to topic ?

Back to the topic, I hope we will get some clarification why this happened from Warhorse soon. I wanted to get some special limited edition, but instead it turned out to be regular cheap paper box which is already damaged :frowning:

I would recommend taking some photos and sending them to Daniel Vávra on Twitter, he always comes across as a conscientious person so I’m sure he would take action.

Id like to apologise if anyone found my stance defending agrwssive,
But also like to nite that everyone backer or not has the right to say, if you mind non backer people stating their arguments, then IDK what to say.

But being attacked for working for a Soros funded institution is really low. This part of the world does not offer jobs, once a job opens you either take it or sit for years waiting for a spot to open.

It isn’t about what you have a right to say, my opinion is that someone with far less invested weighing in doesn’t mean much. You aren’t affected by what we’re talking about, but we are. It doesn’t concern you, basically.

This exactly.

(Especially for Germans:)
I don’t know if this was stupid or naïve but I wrote an email and commentary to “GameStar” (German gaming magazine) to encourage them to investigate and report about the whole debacle of the delivery and communication.

What do you think about that action? Was it a good idea? Actually I’m not so sure.

Thats ok and in no way stupid.

Okay, thanks for your thought.

In my dealings with Gamestar they always struck me as genuine and fair so if they consider it to be an issue worth investigating then they might do so.

I would say though there is a chance we’re being a little premature about this and that perhaps we are getting the promised items we backed specifics tiers for (and paid a lot of money for!). The primary issue is the lack of clarity coming out of WH right now.

As I mentioned I tweeted Daniel so hopefully he can respond and clear things up: https://twitter.com/Placebo_obecalP/status/962308560968404992

This is a good reasoning. I guess I have to confess to myself being a little bit premature today.

I think it’s perfectly natural, we invested a lot of money over four years ago to invest in a project we really believed in, suddenly this close to release we start hearing/reading worrying things that our faith and trust could potentially have been exploited, it’s natural to be a little concerned/upset/anxious.

I think we are hyped and excited. And a little bit disappointed. Lack of communication, console players (non-backers) are streaming

Getting some rest now
 see you later, lads

Now its really boiling over. Maybe we should start all the things AFTER we have our games in hands and are SURE they arent what we believed in.

I will no worries! I have worked with a lot of Warhorse’s people in the past* and know they are to a man some of the most genuine, professional, friendly, kind people so I trust that any possible issues can be resolved

** In the spirit of full disclosure I work for Bohemia Interactive and have done so since 2004

I think the whole discussion demonstrates perfectly that nothing is black and white: there are grey shades.

Maybe I should drink a glas of absynthe and eat a slice of bread with cream cheese and Worcestershiresauce and calm down a little bit.

nothing is black and white? did you never played chess?

Absolutely, but the issue isn’t helped with things like being told 24+ hours ago that in a “couple of hours” we’ll have the tracking information in our profiles. etc. etc.
