oh lord xD
Just because someone likes the game (gives it a 9/10) doesnât mean he/she is a fanboy.
nope it doesnt, but alot are probably
What? You really need to understand what a fanboy is.
right let me rephrase, people who have been supporting the game way before release and may have even invested into it
The only games that i can think of that make me as happy as kcd, are mount and blade (which i resisted for years because i thought it would suck) and ultima online, which no other online mmorpg has matched
Disagree, the game great. However, I do feel the game is too short and there is content that was removed from the final product like tournament mode. Hopefully we get the cut content in the form of dlc.
Iâm really tired of games being released unfinished. for me unfinished is anything below 85% done this in my opion is about 60%. about where witcher 3 was when it came out. Ended up being a good not great game. Give 7.5-8/10. If they can fix it ill give 7/10 and buy any dlc they have but if after the same lenght of time CD project had to fix witcher 3 they arent able to fix WH will be off my Radar EA and Bethesda are. there are a few more. Didnt hear of this game untill after launch so had no expectations very happy for thatâŠ
The author of the youtube video fails to elaborate on âwhyâ he was right, like every other successful and thought-provoking game reviewer. Even the articles that are absolute bias go into detail in some regard, yet this individual comes in and offers a less-than two minute video basically saying, âIâm right and Iâm not providing why I was rightâ. It seals the deal on me wanting to look back on what he stated, although I am curious to for the sake of curiosity. I suggest the author of the video offer some more monologue and detailed explanations other than placing blame on something.
Honestly, minus the bugs, minus the game-breaking glitches, my only issue was ever Save-game mechanics. That was solved with a mod-fix and now I donât worry about losing progression to a broken story-line or somesuch nonsense.
Itâs quite an experience wearing light armour!
On my first playthrough I was the noble knight with full plate, but for the second I decided to experience stealth, pickpocketing and assassination. Itâs so much fun, but since Iâve been caught a few times guards randomly attack me and subject me to surprise checks!
Iâd have to agree. Iâve in total spent 160 dollars because I backed the game for a hundred and than bought it for Xbox also. Sorry yâall are having save issues. Iâve had none. And rarely see any bugs. If I do I load a save and fixed. Iâm sure this issue will he resolved soon as itâs a big one.
People confuse âslowâ with ârealisticâ because if games theyâve previously played. In real combat, youâre not just gonna run in swinging and tanking hits. Youâre going to block, parry, bait, combo, maintint distance, watch your footwork, all kinds of stuff goes into it. Also people who arenât good tend to say things like âthe game cheatsâ or âthis combat sucksâ. It could probably be worked on a little in bigger battles but itâs pretty fuckin good. Nice video
Which, honestly, if people managed it it shouldnât be bad. There are beds and inns everywhere. Savior Schnapps for anything important on the road, I donât understand why people are having so much trouble with it
Yup, Iâve trained boxing for about 4 years now and itâs the same there, you have to be careful, you have to strategize, Itâs not just go in start throwing punches and pretend like your opponent wonât counter you in any way. I had a guy say on one of my videos that combos suck because there is no guarantee that you will land all 3/4 hits. By that I mena that your opponent can dodge, riposte or perfect block you. I tried explaining to him that itâs the same in real life, you have another trained person there who will not just sit there and wait for you to do your combo, you have to work for it and as soon as you see an opening take full advantage of it.
I think you missed the various points made by casual gamers that time was an issue. Sometimes they have only fifteen minutes to play, or less than. Thatâs why the mod-fix was made, primarily for people short on time and wanting to enjoy the experience.
If you only have a few minutes here or there then perhaps this isnât the game for you. There is nothing wrong with that
And/or wait for mods.
casual gamers got bent over, this iâm not denying. but itâs kind of their own fault when it comes down to it. kcd was never marketed as an easy game, in fact i saw dark souls and terms like hardcore rpg being used all the way back when the kickstarter was created. this was always touted as a challenging game. the people who went in expecting a challenge got what they wanted and were most likely prepare. those who didnât pay attention got their ass handed to them. and because itâs embarrassing to admit that theyâre bad. in fact some of them are so bad they had to put the game down. they find ways to criticize the game using bugs they wouldnât even notice if this were some other hand holding casual watered down game that played itself. so honestly i wouldnât give too much heed to those reviews and rage posts where itâs apparent they wouldnât have enjoyed the game even if it had zero bugs in it.
Causal gamers and KCD is like orange peel and the Reinheitsgebot
You must still have interest in the game. You are still trying to play it, and your still on this forum. So people that are enjoying the game are fanboys so be it. If your, not fine. Move on. Plenty of other games you can become fanboys of. Your not going to change anyones mind here and make them get a refund or not play it. Give me a break. Like beating a dead horse x10.
