I think us who pre-ordered/bought the game on release having to experience the game in its pre-patched state, and/or anyone who notified Warhorse Studios of the various bugs/errors should receive a good-will discount. Us who are taking the time and effort pointing out the glitches, bugs and errors are effectively working for the company as Quality Assurance and not getting paid.
I wonder how much money they saved by letting the customers do all the troubleshooting.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!
Yeah, they should pay you for playing this game…um wait…seriously?! Go play minesweeper
But don’t call Microsoft and want some refund because the game is too challenging!!
Then why you haven’t asked CD Project about it at release of their games?
At the least there should some free DLC because this game was an utter mess and still is.
I read a lot like: “Hey that is the risk, you decided to buy the game not they!”
Yes, that is right. But when i decide to buy a new television and at home i discover that the piece is kind a “not working properly”, i can go to the store and get the money back. but normaly that does not happend, because normaly the stuff i buy works. Normaly.
Anyone ever tell you that you look like the rattay executioner?
Yeah but the Game/Your Television is working…we are just talking about a few quirks! Like channel xy is missing or can’t adjust volume!
And like with your TV (If you realy like it and want to own a working one) you will give the fabricator a chance to fix the problems instead of bring it back and cry for refund/Discount
Maybe you are partly right.
I know that cant switching channels is dreadfdul if you watching a sale advertisement the whole time
With other words: I’m also frustrated AF by bugged quests but i still rly like the game and want the developers to fix this mess
the problem is you cant compare any “normal” product like TV’s with a game
there are millions of causes for a game to get bugged, its just not possible to detect and fix them all. And even if you fix one bug there will probably be another one caused by the fix. Especially with such big RPG’s its awful.
Even the best KI cant detect all the bugs and has a high failure rate. I think in the future we will have KI that will detect and fix (most) bugs by itself but nowadays with a small team of developers its utopic.
I can also imagine its a very frustrating and hard task to do
Its basically a question of time and I think they just ran out of time/money and had to stick to the release date.
That more sounds like the job the reviewers did for us and at least some of them are getting paid for their efforts through people watching their videos.
We willingly paid the price for the game knowing of the bugs/crashes and the state the game was in.
It seems a bit off asking for a price reduction from a company for a product they’re making. They havent tried to hide or fight any of the reviews made of the game that I know of despite the work still left to be done in game.
Im thrilled that the game sold well and I hope they keep improving it for a long time, asking for money back? No way, let them keep it and put it to good use
Guys i pretty much agree with all of you, but remember they said that game is finished and released it with a full 60$ price and then you get main quest bugs and stuck in game being forced to reload hours of progress or wait weeks for a patch because you saved the game during the MAIN QUEST, that’s the biggest bug this game had and it shouldn’t get past QA in a million years.
So yeah, in my opinion what they did is EA level bullshit trying to get as much money as they could get. I trusted them and bought the game before release because it looked good and yes I like the game and enjoy it very much, but i still feel cheated, like buying a second hand item that works sometimes for the price of a new product.
I would have no problem with WH if they released the game as early access or idk asked less money more for the game which is a common practice with indie games.
Conclusion I won’t buy games from them ever again at full price, they should value their customers and treat them with respect, if you screw up admit it and pay they consequences, it will be better in the long run even if u lose at the moment, that’s how u build trust and brand loyalty.
The game has a lot of problems and I understand software is a completely different story compared to other products. I love this game to death even though it’s infuriating at times. That being said, I don’t want some money back or anything like that, maybe just some free DLC and I’ll be a happy camper.
I don’t care about pay i just want the product I bought to work right, I hate to read Warhorse Studios works in China because there product really is a mess for Xbox one consoles.
Sorry, what? China?
What nonsense it is with full price. Of course they have to sell for full price… how would they ever reach their business goals?? I fyou paid only 30 USD because the product has bugs and then send them additional 30 USD after they patch the game? People…let’s use some brain…
You didn’t get it…everything that comes out of China doesn’t work it brakes within weeks.
LOL…think again…nearly EVERYTHING comes out of china (by the way: Warhorse NOT)!
So you will tell us your PC, your Console, Your mobile, your toaster, your whatever-electric-device brakes within weeks? DUDE!! You do something wrong obviously
We were watching beta access to the game
