DLC We would like (or expect) to see?

So, there are a few items I expect to see in either DLC or updates, and a few I would like to see.

I expect to see:
Horse armour (i know, i know…),
Tournament fighting (including jousting?),
Act 3,
Extra armour/weapon packs.

I would like to see:
DLC about Henrys fathers origins (extending into Prague?),
Horse Racing,
Crossbows,
Mounted combat overhaul,
More wayfarers,
More alchemy recipes,
Crafting (if they can sort out the issues),
Implementation of a bulk capacity (wishful thinking).

Thoughts?

Blacksmithing.
Business ownership
Maybe add children for immersion? Not sure if they had those back then.

– Romance options expanded in number and or depth… at the very least, more than a simple "now that we’ve done it…"
A. Let’s act as though nothing happened at all and I become a Standard NPC
B. I Will Never Speak to You At All Ever Again

– Closure on at least one of the two main goals I’ve had for nearly the entire game.

I just saw this, Lol.

But historians to this day are unsure as to whether children existed prior to the late 19th century. The debate, rages on.

One word. Theresa.

I feel like a lot of these suggestions should just be added as they develop them. New quests and similar content I’d be happy to pay for, but crossbows? New potions? Tournaments? Just add those in a patch tbh, like the No Man’s Sky devs have been doing.

– Cloth Rags, because we shouldn’t need a sharpening stone, kit, and or professional blacksmith to wipe blood off a weapon.

They could have a relatively huge sidequest surrounding tournaments though! I agree some of them are more suited toward an update, but tbh if they wanted us to pay, as much as I may grumble about it, i probrably would…

Well what I would like to see:

Major -

Knighthood Quest - This would be a major quest-line to become Sir Henry with lots of new content to support it like jousting tournaments, new epic knightly armor, lances and improved mounted combat, ability to have a squire follower, and a knighting ceremony. New mounted enemies types like hedge knights, highwaymen, and mounted Cumans that can be encountered. New weapons like lances and poleaxes to include better polearm management where they can be stored in your inventory.

Burgher Quest - This would be a quest-line that continues the thief quest line beyond the millers and for players that prefer city life. The content could include the guild society of the period and the connections to corruption and politics, merchant banks, business ownership, new rogue clothing like hoods that are up and better light armor options. New weapons like crossbows and equitable daggers for city folks and improved crime system with robberies and mugging attempts occurring in the city at night. Maybe some kind of henchmen followers to simulate a merchant with followers. Better night life with bath houses open at night and higher stakes gambling opportunities.

Other/Minor-

  • Perks Expanded - Perk trees added for bows, polearms, and unarmed
  • More Horse armor options added to include plate for mounts
  • More weapons and armor content like lances, crossbows, useable daggers, light armor, hoods wearable up, etc
  • Mounted combat improved
  • Hunting Dog companion
  • Gangs of Bohemia with bandit factions that can be joined
  • A manor that can be purchased (with fast travel location) maybe Neuhof could be a candidate?

As much as I’d love to see something like this, I doubt we’ll see Henry being knighted any time soon… But you never know I suppose.

A part from that, still think you make some great suggestions here.

Oh, oh, oh BLACK TRANSGENDER HENRY (Henrietta?)

What I would love to see is a sort of “Exotic weapons and armour pack” containing weapons and armour from older ages and different cultures. It could be implemented “realistically” by presenting it as a certain lord’s personal collection that Henry can potentially steal from.

Sadly there probably are some freaks that want to play a transtesticle Henry.

We need an instrument! And play at taverns for money. Sheet music to play many different time period songs

And yet, my Henry is called (sir) knight by countless NPCs :face_with_head_bandage:

Only you first must track down Oswald von Wolkenstein and get him to teach you how to read music. Then you must choose an instrument like the harp, harpsichord, viol, or flute and find a teacher. The harp and harpsichord will be best played on PC with a keyboard, but the viol benefits from the two analog sticks on a controller. The flute will probably generate hundreds of “its too hard” and “get gud” posts on the forums because getting the angle over the mouthpiece will be difficult at first, but once you unlock the Zamphir and Jethro Tull perks it becomes too easy, prompting many to decry the lack of difficulty scaling.

I actually like the idea, but the above paragraph was equal parts satire and prophecy.

Lol i can’t wait, don’t forget those saying their ENTIRE experience was ruined because of this mini game

Henry is called (sir) knight

Well, yes. The game is based on reputation and armour. The better your equipment or reputation, the different reactions the NPCs will have to you.
