They need to fix the fist fighting is this game its complete bullshit you get tired after two swings and the drunk can throw combos like a professional boxer yet you cant do anything. It’s ridiculous kunesh could get knocked out by a toddler with his much of a drunk he’s supposed to be. He shouldn’t even be able to lay a finger on Henry. I’m just ranting though lol

I’m playing on a PC and I have to hit the primary mouse button at least 3 times, before Henery even throws a punch.
Like it’s annoying as hell. Kunesh will dodge and throw 3 punches before I can even reactwhich is fucking ridiculous he isn’t a professional fighter he’s a drunk he should be stumbling and falling over himself and Henry should just be able to stomp on him
It is because they want you to lose the fight with Kunesh, you are not suppose to win lol. It opens up 3 more quests when you lose to him. It has you go to mother to get healed, it allows you to get lock picks from Fritz, and allows you to do the quest where your friends help you kick his ass.

You don’t have to fight Kunesh to get your friends help, only talk to him then go back and talk to your friends.
The dialog will then allow you to ask them for their assistance.
I am aware of that, but getting beat by him allows the mother quest.
I get that it can open up other parts to the same quest but like I said he is a drunk he shouldnt be able to bob and weave and counter like Muhammed Ali
I think part of it is they wanted you to clearly see Henry grow as a character. in the start you are suppose to be a weak young man, with no skills, no fighting ability at all. I too think they made it a little to easy for Kunesh to dodge and such, but I think they were trying to make you feel like you were really learning later. When you lose to him, because you have no stamina/skill, but then later, get better, and have better stamina/skill, you feel like you have grown as a character. That is my take on the reasoning behind it anyway.

The thing is though at least every one has gotten into a fight at some point in their lives especially since Henry has his friends that get into mischief and stuff like that so they’ve fought other people before so a drunk piece of shit like kunesh should be childs play

You are aware you have two type of attack? ( Hvy punch left mouse button) and quick jabs ( right click) ? Throw a jab when he loads his hit, you should hit him before he completes his punch.

(and you don’t have to win in the first fight…thats the way the game work - you always got an other way to success)
I beat him too, right after start of game, it is not easy, try different strategy, use quick punches too, clinch, movement etc…
Jab, jab, jab, pull back. Repeat. You’re just bad, that’s all. Feel free to throw in a cross or clinch to keep it interesting if you like. You’re better off not fighting him initially though. Then you can get lockpicks.
Lol oh no I’ve beaten him plenty of time but the problem I’m having is how badly Henry gets hurt. I finally beat him without receiving any damage but it took like 50 plus tries and I know about the jab/hook combo but that wasn’t working for me I had to throw a hook first follow it up with 2 jabs then throw another hook rinse and repeat. But like he has an almost impenetrable clinch move and same with his counter and they all do heavy damage

When i started the game I was scared to fight anyone because of the reviews I’ve read how hard the fighting is at start. I beat Kunesh with ease when I first tried the game. And that was on PC as well and I don’t even play games on PC.
Just block in the right direction but most importantly, move. Away from him if possible. Do circles around him and every know and then drop a quick jab or a combo. 2 punches max then move away. It’s easy.

Well in a fist fight you really cant guard in a certain direction you just block but I did find out to throw a good punch you have to be standing still, as in you cant be stepping backwards tryna swing but you also cant get too close to him
