Just keep getting the message “too many of your soldiers have died” or whatever. Doesn’t seem to matter what I do. What the hell is this? Anyone know how this part of the game is actually supposed to work?
I’m having trouble here, too. It seems like no matter how many people I bring after the cutscene where the cart is moved out of the way I’m left with the same amount of troops every time. I’ll get to that part with about 30 troops and then after the cutscene i’m down to half of that. It’s making it impossible because of how many men I lose before pushing the church.
im only getting to the second little skirmish I think im only starting out with like between 12 and 18 guys
I went with the biggest group I could and it’s about 30 people. There’s supposed to be support from Lord Harush but I don’t see any soldiers with his colours on them so I don’t know what’s happening there. Henry’s also only telling Radzig about three of the five possible approaches I saw when I scouted the camp and he keeps picking the same one even though there’s two approaches where we could launch a sneak attack. Not sure what’s going on but I can’t advance any further than this because of all the problems I’m having.
First help all your soldiers fight to minimise losses up until you get to the part where they roll the cart away. Run up to the guys firing the arrows, either fight them or just hide and draw their fire. Cause the archers basically decimate your men. Wait till the soldiers kill the cuman captain and all the archers will start to run away, fight them to draw their attention again or run away. You should have a good large squad of soldiers as you head up to the next camp. Either fight with them or hide and they should easily wipe out the rest of the soldiers.
Rushing the archers seems to just make me lose faster. Also No one ever aims for me regardless
Well just sharing the exact step by step on how I did it. Just run up the stairs towards the archers a bit then run and hide behind a wall otherwise they’ll pick off your soldiers. If that doesn’t work you may need to reload an older save and sabotage the camp like poison the food or steal the arrows at night.

My main problem is that half of my army just disappears after the cutscene for no reason.
Before patch I did get reinforcements with every battle but after patch i just get message too many soldiers died 
Same problem for me, it just seems impossible tried many different strategies. Or i die because i fight too much or i lose because to many men die because i play it safer, very frustrating
Same problem here. Although in my case, I had not done any sabotage.
after they move the cart, there is some hay in-front of the archers, if you light that on fire, it will make the archers immediately flee instead of decimating whats left of your forces.

I had this issue the first time, so I decide on a different path in a sense, once you get into the area with the commander go and deal with the archers on the left.

It literally took me like 20 tries to complete this quest. It finally worked when I set fire to the hay by the archers first thing, then I ran inside and waited in 1 of the tents until the first areas fighting was over. Then when they all ran up to the 2nd area, I ran on the narrow wooden thing to near the back of the enemy camp and watched the battle from the right side.
I noticed that Oftentimes, Radzik would get stuck when the men charched up the hill. And in general the 2nd part of the fighting seem really bugging with dudes just stop fighting, taking forever to ram the gate down, wondering around , etc. Only advice i can offer is stay away from the fighting and make sure that Radzik and the other guy are fighting.
Funnilly enough, I got to the boss on try 20 and I beat him on the first attempt. You can actually loot some really bad ass armor from the first round of fights off corpses that can take Runts sword blows quite well. Just keep your distance and hit him with arrows.
Exact same issues here on PS4. With all the bugs and crashes–it has only taken me about 40 hours and about 5 fresh restarts to get to this point and again can’t seem to move on:(. Without all the bugs and crashes–this game could be amazing:)
I’m on PC and game only crash once. Ive only had serious problems on this one quest for whatever reason

Well, I found these bug, when killed 3 enemy archers by myself. 3 headshots and then Game Over, cause I lost lot of my men. Lost my men, when I killing Cuman. Then I save game at secong attack, after bridge. When I load it, AI is desables and not attack me or each other. I try to kill cuman like these, and then, after 3 killed enemies... I lost a lot of my men. God, please, repair these quest. Its Steam version, btw.
