Feel lucky you got anything. I was systematically denied access to the game literally because I’m a Jew per Christain from Warhorse. I’m opening a case with the FTC in the USA and the EU to get back the money they robbed from me.

EDIT: I should note that I originally backed the game prior to release and was promised a non-steam version which I never received.
OP might be excitable but he is not actually wrong is he. On PS4 (Pro) this feels like a bad port.
I honestly don’t know what it’ll be each time I boot up, will the trader dialogue option take three minutes to load? Will there be invisible buildings with visible furniture floating in mid-air? Will all the doors in Rattay fail to render so I can’t enter any of the buildings? Will a quest fail halfway through because nothing happens when I try to talk to the NPC? Its something different every time. I’m still playing because it is very engaging when it works properly, but I play in a constant state of fear that its about to crash, and that means i am playing very, very, very slowly, I can barely do anything without riding home to save, and until recently most of my money went on Saviour Schnapps. Yes I can make it now in the Alchemy bench.
If it was like this but cost about 30% less I’d not say anything, but this game is not gold for release is it, it simply has not been adequately play-tested and its performance on console, its unreliability, is poor enough that in any other industry it would be considered an unfinished product, not fit for purpose.
I don’t mind the odd visual glitch and even triple-A games crash sometimes, no-one’s expecting flawless performance 100% of the time, especially with a game as ambitious as this, but honestly, its been released too soon. I expect great improvements from patch 1.3, because the game sorely needs it.

You have some serious issues man. I think this goes beyond video games. Take a step back and try to analyze the amount of hate you have on a gaming forum. It’s not healthy. There are serious issues with the game and yes, different people do have the same issues that you and I don’t have. Even if they might use a tone not suitable for good conversation, please don’t use the same or worse tone to respond. Calling people “asshats” and claiming they are all in cahoots together and lying make you look like a conspiracy theorist.
So … watch your words a bit, please, or sooner or later you’ll be flagged by the very people you try to defend.

Thanks for being a voice of reason Lamproly. I’ll admit I get a little defensive when somebody calls me a liar. I think everybody here just wants KCD to succeed. Pointing out problems with the game is not mutually exclusive to that end. On the contrary, we want these issues fixed so the success is sustained.

Games with release dates are fails imo. If it had no release date and was released once it’s ready i think it would be in much better state.
