How Dare You Charge 60 Dollars for a Game in This State

Haven’t seen the 50% off buggy promotion code yet. Guess need to look harder

Oh I’m sure that will be after they start a petition, threaten lawsuits maybe protest with funny hats outside the headquarters.

I’m with you. How do you go about getting a refund. They should post this as well. I have it for the ps4 and although my sword fighting has improved lock picking is almost impossible with the console. I have a character following me around the map who interrupts everything I do. And I will be damned if I restart that quest because that’s not a fix in my eyes. So I agree this game is broken good concept but broken game. A refund is in order. Too much money for the content you get.

I’m not surprised by the number of people defending the state of the game, but it’s still disappointing. I’m enjoying the game, but imagine if EA or Ubisoft released a game in this state and charged $60 for it. Armageddon! Being a new studio really isn’t an excuse. If the game isn’t ready then don’t release it. And certainly don’t charge $60 for it.

I’m going to keep playing the game because I’m still enjoying it (for now), but I don’t blame anybody for being pissed off and giving up on it.

So they can afford refunds sounds great

on PS4 too. lockpicking was frustrating as hell (near impossible) in beginning. got lucky on a try. remembered what i did. now, not a problem. … the lack of better instruction is horrific. that mechanic is changing so there’s hope

Actually I wish I would have read these forums before playing. I would have saved money. At least I know I’m not the only one.

Oh great another “neooonfriction”.

Please do us all a favor and leave. People who enjoy the game don’t need your kind here.

You mean lucky people who haven’t had the same experience can’t stand the idea of those with broken games having our say and opinions on public forums.

What makes you the authority on who can be here. If you enjoy the game so much get back to playing it instead of sitting on here telling everyone to go away like some prepubescent child.

Ironic.

You also come here to tell people to quit playing it, and refund.

You have no authority to tell people who enjoy the game that they should refund.

I played the game, saw the bugs, but was patient. I reported them. I didn’t yell at others playing the game to completely shut down and refund like you.

There is a big patch patch that was (or will be) sent for certification on console this week which along with a lot of other stuff should help with lockpicking being almost impossible on consoles.

Show me one time I’ve told someone who explicitly enjoys playing the game to grab a refund? Your just making it up now you desperate fool.

They sold over a million copies and there are 10-20 of you spamming your copy/paste complaints. We are not “lucky” we are just normal.

Well that’s a completely random figure plucked out of the sky isn’t it lol. Try again.

No its a pretty well documented number.

You are assuming that extra budget went into game development. The main difference between small and big studies is the marketing budget. Most games these days spend far more money into marketing campaigns or fancy (and very expensive) CGI trailers. Turns out you can make much more money when you flat out deceive people with fancy trailers rather then actually developing a good games.

Aww look you went out of your way to prove a point I wasn’t debating. You made up figures about how many people are having issues. 10-20 you said but i think you will find it’s much more.

The number of copies they sold means nothing. Do you think everybody knew the issues going in? I had a friend ask me if he should buy the game. I said not yet. IF they get the bugs worked out, then for sure.

Gibb, real mature. They are paying customers who have just as much right to be here as you do. You are the one who is contributing nothing by blindly blowing sunshine up the devs’ asses. Just because other posts exist that are complaining about bugs doesn’t mean there can’t be new ones. The more the devs see, the more seriously they will take it.
