I am crashing every 5 minutes

surprised not surpriced, lol type ow mistake,

there is another solution that ive have not heard from any of you on here, and its quite simply this-----

try another computer with windows 7-8-xp and try the game and see if the problem’s are the same if not they ditch windows 10,

The debug mode did the trick for me I think (MSI GTX 970 4GB) … there was a steam update, too.
No crash during the cutscene (ruined my Sunday) and no FPS issues on Ultra Preset. I’m amazed!

Played six hours straight …

Detailed guide would be much appreciated

Hi, the folowing solution help me:

Select ā€œGamesā€ tab at the top left side of the ā€œAMD Radeon Settingsā€ application.
Find Kingdom Come here and select it’s profile.
Go to WattMann tab.
Turn GPU ā€œFrequency (MHz)ā€ to dynamic mode and type values for states as shown in the screenshot.

This worked! Thank you

Setting Physx specifically to GPU in Nvidia control panel seems to have fixed the DXGI error for me. ran 2 hrs yesterday with no issues.
Andi.

Hello,
Sorry for my bad English…
I have the same problem and i use all tips in this topic, but… the error isn’t fixed.

• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M
• IntelĀ® Coreā„¢ i7-4710MQ CPU @ 2.50GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
• 32 GB (4x8) DDR4 RAM
• Alienware 17

I also have this problem. Geforce 780. I’ve played for a couple of hours, with frequent crashing. Turning down setting to low may have helped a little, crashing every 20 min instead of 5 min. But right Now I’m stuck at the dreamlike sequence just after intro credits… crasching all the time one or two min into that scene, can’t get past that…

Hi, I’ve solved the problem by setting it up in registry -
"\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ GraphicsDrivers" TdrLevel set to value 0.

Hi can you explain that again step by step for dummies pls ?

Sure. But, i do not recommend manually editing registers unless you are an experienced user. This can easily damage the operating system or some program.

  1. Manually:
  • Press window+R
  • Enter ā€œregeditā€ and press OK
  • Open this key ā€œ\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDriversā€
  • Double click on TdrLevel and edit value to 0

Automatically:
Run this srcipt: https://uloz.to/!uxO5O1HORJDq/tdrlevel-reg (Set TdrLevel to 0)
https://uloz.to/!spKtC1a5B4EU/tdrlevel-reg (Set TdrLevel to 1)

Since yesterday the game crashes and freezes my PC. Played for around 40 hours without problems and I really don’t know where to start…

When the TdrLevel Key is not there, I shouldn’t create it, right?
I tested this. Created a DWORD with Value 0, Restart, Problem not solved, Deleted Key -> Windows flashed an info that I should restart.

I can enter the menu and load my savegame when the ā€œdebug modeā€ is triggert but when I move my PC freezes.

Other options. (Some trobles with compatibility was solved.)
Right click on KDC.exe / properties / compatibility

  1. Run this program in compatinility mode: maybe win 7
  2. Run as an administrator
Maybe ( 3. Disable display scaling on high DPI setting)

I have i7-5960X, 64 GB Corsair platinum ram (3000) and 4 SLI Titan X (evga).
I played The Witcher 3 Ultra without crashes
I have a lots of crashes that I don’t understand: sometimes can play 40 minutes, sometimes crashes in 40 seconds, I’m looking to VGA temperatures too, but they doesn’t seems correlated.
I try all you had suggest…
what can be? too old CPU?
