Ideas that you would like to be apart of this game

I wanted to create this post to give some of my ideas that I have come up with whilst playing this amazing game. And hope others will contribute as well. Could possibly inspire modders for mod ideas for the game.

  1. Being able to switch between arrows without going to inventory.
  2. Being able to auto brew in alchemy with out having to go back to the book.
  3. Being able to “bookmark” potion recipes.
4.Being able to unequip all armor.
5.Marking items in inventory as trash or valuables.

I would like to be able to rebuild privaslavitz (or however you spell it) as your own town. You would have to recruit people to work there and maybe move theresa in. Who knows but it would give you someplace in your game to spend all the groshen you collect throughout the game.

Shield vs torch mechanic bothers me.

In that respect, I’d like the inventory to remember that you had a shield equippied after you put the torch away. As it is now, I have to go back in and re-equip the shield.

I would like to see other activities (like potters at work) and wagons , more dialog options with non-critical npcs, such as being able to offer money against a bed in rural areas without an inn, chattering about weather, flirting, etc. It would also be great to be able to own a stolen horse (after a while) or a stolen/empty home (by placing Henry’s belongings in a chest?), to be able to play different games in taverns and to see different kinds of game into the woods, maybe children in cities, new encounters… All these (little or at least unrelated to the main quest) things are the blood and flesh that make KCD beautiful world the most detailed and well crafted that I know about in a video game. Add new locations and you enhance its replayability to new levels…

Ability to setup a small camp while in the wilds. Sleep, save, eat - although you’d need to buy, steal or otherwise requisition the camping gear.

Also, other wayfarers, nobelmen, knights, etc., on horseback. Not many, mind you, horses were expensive, but a few every now and again.

instead of a torch it would be nice if i could buy a lantern .

Torches that degrade over time, lanterns that need new candles, aquamaniles that need their oil refilled…give some purpose to all the miscellaneous items in the world, other than aesthetics.

Attachable Lanterns👍 and backpacks.

Attachable to a working wagon? A working wagon loaded with traders’ goods and escorted by mounted guards/mercs? traders’ goods that actually supply town vendor inventory? traders and guards/mercs that you can equip with the mountain of armor and weapons you’ve harvested from enemy NPCs and bought from vendors?

Crossbows and morningstar flail maces. Joisting matches would be cool too.

Should be able to harvest animal fat from boars or pigs for oil.

Shovel, pitchfork, and hoe should all be weapons.

Also wish they would have made blacksmithing more in depth like the alchemy is. Considering we are the BLACKSMITH’S son. Like being able to craft our own sword once leveled up enough of course.

That was a major mechanic they wanted to implement, but it ended up on the cutting room floor. Hopefully a later DLC or some such will add more depth to it.

Ah. Ok. Well I hope they do add it. Because I enjoy how in depth the alchemy system is.
