First, where do I post this? I am uncertain if it’s a bug, but I’m pretty bleeping certain it was not intended. I won’t post where I found this cuz I don’t want people using this exploit, but here is a mashup of my post-theft inventory screen and Crime stats screen:

How would it affect your gaming if someone decided to use the exploit or not? I mean, why do you care?
Obviously, the developers will want to fix that sure, understandably, and good on you for telling them about it. I was just wondering why you cared when I’m sure those looking to cheat already do.

In a tower behind the church in rattay, you have to climb up a ladder and lockpick a chest
It’s the armory chest in rattay. This has been around before the latest patch.
Maybe I’m dumb or something, but what I can see is your real amount of money, which is 8.4K. The value stolen is just a piece of statistics, it doesn’t really affect anything, does it? So, what this exploit is about?
There’s at least two chests in Rattay that the guards use with hundreds of swords. Already been reported. Pretty low on the list of things that need to be fixed.

well, my millers are still out of money. stealing all those weapons wouldn’t help me

Why not? With so many bugs right now stealing everything thats not nailed down and selling it/making the most money you can gives the best thrill with least risk of game crashing/quest bugs.
On my robin hood role play build im knocking out beggars and reverse pick pocketing all the gold i make on them since there doesnt seem to be a way to give alms normally. Have a good portion of refugees with thousands of gold.
No clue how you’re playing but I’ve made tens of thousands of Grosh without exploits.
I currently have 15K and can do more without any cheats and exploits. Also I have not encountered any bugs whatsoever (maybe very minor, 2 or 3). What am I doing wrong?

Just saying people are trying to find their own fun while avoiding actual problems like unfinishable quests. If they want to do it why not? Don’t see the problem anyway as gold is useless after the essentials are bought which you can have more than enough before finishing the prologue.
I have 150k without this. Game is not about money.

There are plenty of bugs that end quests. Thats why the bug tab is there. Kinda silly to pretend they aren’t to try to add credibility to a discussion point.
As for gold, same. Normal play has more then enough. You really dont need more then 10k if that. Didn’t know about this exploit and just stole normally for the kicks. Wont use it anyway as im avoiding entering rattay until all patches are in as i want to 100% all quests before starting the main mission so i can see if there are any alternative routes.
Just saying if people get their kicks doing it why the hostility to their style? Its like with modders, if they want to do one that changes the game why not?
This isn’t an exploit that needs to be fixed. This is you using your damn Stealth and Lockpicking to DO exactly what they’re meant to be used for, sneaking into places and stealing!
