look at the video again. the different skin color issue is obvious on the man when they zoom in. and if thatās a piece of clothing, then it must be made of spandex.
itās pretty obvious that itās just a skin color mismatch issue. the womenās head includes the neck and shoulder, same as the maleās head model.
the female chemise undergarment is also visible in some videos already, as a layer under the outer worn dress, itās pretty puffy, like it was in real life, not skin tight.
also, you can see the belly button and nipples. i donāt think they made transparent underwear back then.
The premise behind it is sound. At the beginning of the game they can have an informative and non-vague text that notifies the player of nudity, or just have it in the options. Itās not about censoring adult content, itās about marketing to all demographics. You may want nudity and somebody might not. At the end of the game, you both had an enjoyable experience and their play-through of the game without nudity will not affect you in any way whatsoever. People enjoy RPGās and they market well because people enjoy the customization and choice that comes with the game. In the same sense people should have the option to tailor the type of game they want to play. If anything the advanced options of choosing if you want blood & gore/ nudity/ torture should be seen as innovation and not as censorship.

I would say that nude bodies are natural and they are pornographic only if you try to make them so. Actually sometimes underwear can be more pornographic than complete nudity. Everyone seen at least one nude body in their life in non pornographic situation (I hope that everyone on this forums bathesā¦)
Violence on the other handā¦ You donāt see it often in real life (if you do you probably donāt have time to play video games) and if you see it you either freeze, run away, or do everything in your power to stop it (which actually now that I think of it may be an argument why violence in video games might be good - it helps you not to freeze in real life violent situation, enabling you to think though the situation and either run or help to stop it).
Anyway I got sidetracked. Point I am trying to make is that nudity is natural and not necessarily pornographic, violence though is something that I have real difficulty to view as something positive.
Edit: before some nitpick points out that I said something positive on topic of violence at the end of second paragraph: only video game violence and as tool to prevent or avoid violence.

Go for a Witcher-like nudity. Some soft and unagitated nudity now and then. Some bathing maids in a lake, some erotic adventure for the main character. Perhaps some whores in the city.
It should and will not be a main feature, but it would very much add to the realistic feel of the game. Iām quite confident hat they will do it like that being a European game.
Racism??? Seriously? What I said was no bashing but an empirical analysis.
I donāt get it how someone could connect differences in societal acceptance of certain topics in video games with something like rascismā¦perhaps you should look up what that really means before you post BSā¦

Nobody here said that the game should display nudity but no violence. People said that itās weird to include only violence but no nudity, thatās all.

I would rather leave this option up to Warhorse if they deem nudity as adding immersion to their game. Like the Elder Scrolls series, one of the first and most popular mods will be a nude one anyway.
Some people made really good points there. Especially about treating games like children toys rather than mature medium. And even though some countries have restrictions about that nudity within games, world is changing. Nudity is no longer taboo in US. Just watch some cable channel series like Shameless or Game of Thrones. This is mature content for mature people and noone seems to complain. Why should they start complaining about the game? Warhorse have already shown that theyāre not afraid to go against mainstream. So when the nudity will be represented in the proper context or will cause proper reaction, there is no reason why it should be censored. Of course there are some marketing aspects. Lower age rating = bigger audience. But Iāam afraid that those bullshits are exactly the reason why they started their own indie studio.

I hope we will see:
- Full Nudity with NPC Reaktion to this (like a mother holds her Hands above his childrenās eyes, some pplās run to the next guard, some other womens just giggle, or a man try to strike us down because he think that your are insane, or maybe some women who like what they see there ;))
- A Bordel, i think its not unusual in this time
- Sexual Relationships with other NPCs in this world maybe a good Love Story or just Sex for cash
- Sry bad English iām from Germany, i hope they dont go the Censored way. I hate it when Games (18+) that playās in a Realistik World showās me how i can do a Atopsy with a shotgun. But have Big Pixel Screens Over Nudity Scenes thats make no sense in my eyes. I hoppe thay do it like other games thats not developed in the US like āthe witcherā.

One thing people need to get out of the mindset of is āNudity equates to sex.ā It does not When you see naked babies the majority of people donāt think about sex, when you see your child naked you donāt think about sex when you see your siblings naked you donāt think about sex when you see yourself naked you donāt think about sex when you see your parents naked you REALLY donāt think about sex when you see your best friend naked you donāt think about sex and when you see your comrades naked (like in the military) you donāt think about sex. So when do we equate sex and nudity? We do so in sexual situations like when watching pornography or youāre with a sexual partner or are around prospective sexual partners (that happen to be naked) Aside from those times the majority of humans will not equate nudity with sex.
- edit and as for why to add it, Iāve already posted reasons above, but to sharpen the point itās about how you play the game. You may play the game and never take off your pants in the game. Some gamers might want to take their pants off to wash them, or go to sleep, or take a bath, or simply because they want their character to be a nudist. So If thatās not your fancy then make sure you keep your guard up and donāt get so drunk strange things happen to you.

Well it seems the forum is fairly split on this topic. I am fairly okay with it being in the game but it is disgusting in my opinion. So long as there are ways to avoid it completely or to simply opt out of this feature via the settings menu there is no reason to keep it out. If you want to drop your trousers that is your prerogative, I would just prefer not to be forced to see such shameless acts.

i totally agree. and: if there will ever be a multiplayer version of the game, there will for sure be players running around naked just to to annoy others.
yeah i know, of some tribes it is told they even went to battle completely naked. butā¦ who wants to see that? brrr.
