Is this legal?

if you care about the gaming industry you should be more worried about the microtransaction and all those bull shit DLCs, games nowadays don’t cost 60$ they cost like a 100$ with all those DLS that is totally not worth it except in some cases like the Witcher 3 where their DLC was a game sized DLC

and the microtransaction they suck all the money out of us activation made 4b$ from microtransaction while 1b$ from selling games and DLC so don’t tell me you care about the gaming industry at least this game dont have those things.

I remember skyrim was just like this game when it got released most people where shitting on the game cuz it was buggy which it was and some of it was game breaking but I had high hopes for it and patch after patch they fixed it till it became perfect so same goes for this game I will not lose hope for it just like I did for skyrim, am currently not even playing the game waiting for something to get fixed.

Learn from your mistakes. Never ever pre-order a game.

Why should I care about gaming industry? This is free market, not a world saving institution. It doesn’t need me caring about it or for it. All I care about is to get a decent product for a decent price. That’s the whole point of doing business. The difference with buying games is that you never know whether you get decent game for the money. That’s actually very rarely the case.

This game I backed in 2016. No one forced me to. I knew it may even be abandoned. Right now I’m on the fence. I mean, I do think I paid 50% more than I should for what I got. But that was my decision and I accept my mistake. Hadn’t I backed it then, I would most likely not buy it at release. I almost never buy games at their top price and almost always on sale.

This one was simply me being enthusiastic about the game. And although I rarely act of impulse, that time I did. And a lot of people are impulsive buyers. Some of them don’t care, because they can afford spending on whatever crap. It doesn’t make a difference for them whether they throw away 60 bucks or not.

Their freedom.

Except it spoils the market for everyone. Because seeing that products are being bought whatever their state, producers will keep releasing crap. If people don’t care how they spend their money, why should producers care?

A vicious circle, that one. That’s why it should be regulated by law.

Pick one. 10 char

Yeah, because free market is actually free of any regulations whatsoever.

Why you talking about other games DLCs etc… have you even completed this game yet? It’s half a story, they guna sell the rest to you later on lol. The ending is crap and unfinished so please tell me again how this game is any different?

Lest you forget they didn’t fund this game themselves backers and investors did with a small budget and a small team so they haven’t got half as much money to claw back.

But why you going on with lootboxes etc? When did I say I love loot boxes etc? I don’t agree with lootboxes and I argue against those, I also don’t agree with selling a broken beta for $60 so I’m arguing against that also. People keep saying well at least this game doesn’t do lootboxes and stuff like everyone who’s got a problem with this game in a broken state said they love lootboxes? Lol stop trying to defend the game by bringing up faults of other games.

Personally I don’t think witcher 3 will be beat for a long time and I paid less for that.

like i said before am currently nor even playing cuz am at late game and I can kill anyone with one shot am patiently waiting for them to fix it and I have a lot of faith in WH.

This is why Console needs it’s own separate community forum, because 90% of PC players that I’ve seen have had little to no problems especially nothing catastrophic. If they have serious problems, it’s usually corrupted downloads, out of date hardware, or windows 7 vs 10 issues.

Just lost my 30 hours progress, be afraid my friend.

I think the whole problem is that some on console have little or no issues and others have them 10 fold.

Ι was like you… At 111 hours I got main quest bug and need to reload about 20-30 hrs back. Dont worry… It will get you… Give it time

Also proof that they released an unfinished game

I think you’re missing the point of the game. It’s about player skill as much as it is about your character’s stats. It’s also really historically accurate. In the real 15th century Bohemia, stairs were really difficult to climb, and as the son of a blacksmith, it would take a while for Henry to master the art of going up a flight of stairs or getting through doorways without getting stuck.

the doorway is a bug. happened to me. its not about realism

No you just need to brush up on history. 15th century Bohemian doorways were very different from modern ones, and took quite a bit of time to get the hang of.
