Being new to a business is never any excuse for bad quality product.
Whether or not KC:D is a “bad” game or a “broken” game (I’m on PC thanks to goodness; I have seen minor bugs like the archery contest bug, only) is has a bad reputation now, and that’s as bad or maybe even worse, as even when they fix it, the game will have a black eye.
Gaming fans are weird. We saw so much fan-worship during development it was sickening. And as in real life, love is just a step away from hate. Warhorse has an unenviable job on its hands right now.
