Yeah what a completely asinine statement. The Witcher 3 and GTAV are only considered 2 of the greatest games ever made. Not to mention Red Dead Redemption and the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 which looks absolutely freaking amazing.
And please tell me what you do in SOMA and Amnesia other than walk around and maybe push a button or pick something up.

The Witcher 3 and GTA V are mainstream games which have both a very dull game design ceated for the 90 % of people that don’t have high requirements to a game. Where are that 2 of the greatest games ever made? You mean 2 of the most boring games ever made or 2 of the greatest in case of the open world size that is blown up to an endless ocean, but just deep as a puddle? Should I tell you what the 1 greatest game ever made is? And I mean greatest in case of quality. It’s a german RPG by a small team released in 2001: “Gothic”
And where we are talking about Amnesia and SOMA: this are the greatest masterpieces of the modern gaming era. And yes, you walk around, push buttons and pick something up.

I never said Soma and Amnesia weren’t great games. I like them both along with Subnautica but they aren’t deep in terms of gameplay.

And nope, Gothic 1 is better than Gothic 2 and how can a gameplay be deep? It can only be well done or crap. A story can be deep, but not gameplay. They are very decent in gameplay and that makes a good game.

LOL, where to start… First of all… 99% of people supported Hitler??? Really?? Well I believe there were about 15 countries or more that fought against him in WW2. I didn’t realize that 99% of the population lived in Germany, Japan, and Italy…interesting.
As someone already mentioned… could you explain in detail how the Witcher 3 is crap?? Great story, awesome quests, cool characters, tons of stuff to do, amazing graphics… the only real criticism I can think of the game that is valid is the combat isn’t great. It’s serviceable but not great. Obviously that is your opinion but you are most definitely in the minority.
Gothic 1&2 are really about equal to me. I liked 2 better. So did the users on metacritic since it has an 8.9 rating compared to Gothic 1’s 8.7 but whatever, still just an opinion.
And you really need someone to explain to you how a game can be deep? By deep I’m obviously talking about several different gameplay mechanics, along with the story, and environment… pretty much every single thing that goes into the make up of a game. So you are saying, just as an example, a walking simulator, even a good one like… i dunno , The Stanley Parable, is just as deep as say Red Dead Redemption 2? That’s interesting considering in one you walk around an environment and push buttons while in the other you actually have to complete missions, tasks, has random events that play out in different ways, hunting, an online component, a morale system, bonding with your horse, eating, shaving, etc, etc.

Why would I ever want to take the opinion of someone, that goes completely against, I’ll just say 94% of the population as that is the witcher 3’s PC user score on metacritic, and then translate it and then read it??? How about you just post them all in English and I’ll just explain to you how you’re probably wrong about all of them?
