Lady Stephanie or Theresa? Which do you choose?

Not gonna lie I’d of probably bummed him. Fuck it, usualy there’s a trophy for fucking every single NPC you can I usually do but then I reload a save before the gayness happened.

You’re definitly right, Hans deserves better than you.

As soon as he asked me to get in the tub I thought for sure Hans was a fan of the meatpole. I was ready for it, and then it didnt happen…and now the next step in his questline is bugged anyway.

We really need to petition to get Lady Stephanie her own actual scene, I never felt so robbed. Also, repeat romps in the sheets…one time? Pfft

Which part is that mate, I jumped straight in there too the whole time suspicious of what might happen. But I though there’s a wench here to so technically it’s not gay.

I managed to finish the part where you get in fight, did you get to that part ?

Yea. After the whole thing you can find Hans later and talk to him. He says hes in trouble and Sir Hanesh wants to talk to him and you have to come too. So he tells you to go to his room and grab some nice clothes, which i think is weird hes giving us clothes now but okay, and tells you to change. You change, meet up with hans, go talk to Hanesh and he sends you to take out some bandits with Cpt Bernard (there is a main character to fight/negotiate with but i cant remember his name). Anyway, we find them, i scope out the camp, lead the boys there, we kill everyone and the missions bugs out. Apparently if you can complete it it corrupts your saves from there on out. It is a know bug, mission Robber Baron

Oh I see, I assumed his quest line was finished after the 3 way session. Well hopefully next patch fixes alot of stuff

Games so good but desperately needs a bit of polish, wish they improve performance a bit too. Specialy towns at night.

Yea man, I like it. Aside from this quest I have had no real issues that I cant tolerate for what the game offers otherwise. However, I am glad I found out this corrupts the save file before I experienced it. Not gonna lie though, I’m still not entirely convinced that there isnt a romance with Hans somewhere down the line…he seems a little soft. We’ll have to see lol

Exactly, I was so sure he wanted that bum sex, he reminds me of the gay kings son in braveheart.

Divish is kind of a wimp. I think he’d just cry himself to sleep. But if robard finds out henry is dead

IDK if you caught but Henrys dad calls him “blue blood” in the beginning of the game.

Think strategically

1.Go with Stephanie. Her old codger hubby doesn’t have long to kick the bucket and when he does…
2…marry Stephanie and become lord of Talberg. But keep Thesea as your mistress. Being a peasant, she’ll understand her humble lot in life. Bring her expensive gifts from time to time to stay on her good side. Don’t forget to murder any living male relatives who could challenge your claim to Lord of the castle & town.
3.Try to knock both Lady Stephanie & Teresa up. Best if former blessed with child, because being past her prime, the odds of Lady Stephanie surviving childbirth at her age are slim. Even better if Teresa gets with child as a backup…
4.Wait for the Reaper (in case childbirth) or fortune (since old age take too long) by mysterious potion slipped into food to become the undisputed Lord of Talberg. At that point,
5.Send for Theresa. Grant her the title of Lady and marry her. Hopefully she’ll have a couple bastard sons in tow when she shows up in Talberg…
6.Profit. Your rise from humble roots as a smith’s son is rewarded by the Almighty. Your dynasty is secured.

… his titles go to his existing 3 sons, all of whom are at least as old as Henry, apparently (doesn’t anybody read the bio info in the Codex?)

But even if you murder the 3 princes, the Talberg titles would still pass to somebody on Divish’s side of the family, not to Stephanie.

Should really be knocking up as many as possible . Lineage is the true sign of power

Looks like Hal’s got his work cut out for him then…

Henry is overly ambitious in my game. He’s becoming quite an expert thief and assassin. And also a very trusted confidant of Theresa’s uncle and his secret brotherhood of Rogues society. Hell, I bet even that old Alchemist crone he dealt with (the one who was accused of witchcraft by that priest) owes him a favor or two. It’s not difficult to conceive an elaborate plan to quietly dispose of one’s adversaries. Then there is the power of the pen–and all the salacious scandal/propaganda that comes with the ability to wield it. Henry after all, has become quite a scholar in my game. Shame any of that new found literacy and intelligence of his should ever go to waste.

And let’s not forget our modern times, Man has learned to fear germs and scoff at God. In Henry’s
era, Man learned to fear God and scoff at germs. Plague & leprosy not withstanding, Henry could attempt using infectious diseases (like the pox, etc) as a weapon. Expose his adversaries to deadly disease. Like through contact to bodily fluids like blood/phlegm and/or physical proximity to infected human carrier. To whom he pays a handsome sum. The overly ambitious were only limited by their creativity.

But history has shown the mortar and pestle have truly proven to be mightier than the sword IMO

btw: That sort of by the book succession didn’t always go as planned.

With THAT many sons --aka TOO GOD DAMNED MANY–something was bound to go wrong.

Historically, the eldest son inherited the lions share aka all the father’s worldly possessions. The 2nd son was typically destined for the Church (if not enough material assets & land existed for him to inherit). As to the third son, that one was left to seek his fortune. Depending on his family’s name/reputation and/or wealth, he might have enough coin to pursue martial service. If lucky, he might receive a commission in a Noble’s service. Perhaps entering as young as a pageboy if his family was high up the social ladder. Sons like that became soldiers of fortune (as Crusaders back in the Holy Wars) and sell swords in Nobility garrison. Some even became bandits lol.

Anyhow, it’s not hard to see how envy could be used to an outsider like Henry’s advantage. Pit one brother against the other – with or without Lady Stephanie’s help (who would likely be a willing accomplice given her uncertain future and social standing). Siding with Henry for a potential future continuing life as Lady Talberg would’ve been far more appealing than being banished to a convent. So Henry begins a covert cviil war amongst the 3 brothers–give or take a poison potion, moral scandal or two–and Voila! Profit.

The War of the Roses that ended with the decisive White rose Yorkist victory over the Red Rose Lancastrians at Towton is a great example of that.
