after the release of the 1.3 patch, the locks are still impossible to open. Even the easiest ones.

Well i was waiting for this patch for the lockpicking, but i doesnt work for me, shame.
Agreed. You really have to focus on moving your thumbs together starting out. Youāre literally training yourself.
This arenāt Skyrim locks. Patience and heavy focus starting out.
Once you teach yourself to move your thumbs together, itās really not hard to get the hang of.
You really have to train yourself while Henry learns. Very cool how it ties you into the character.
Xbox One X - before patch 1.3 I opened 2 very easy locks from 100 tries, now with this patch I open every easy lock what I find maximaly at the second try.
You know what really helps, when you practice with the miller and the damn lockpick did not breakā¦ no you have to load every damn time.
I really dont understand what did make the lockpicking easierā¦ the sweet spot is tinkling like an idiot 
Itās NOT about keeping the sweet spot steady with the right stick. I can do that for ages.
Itās the LEFT STICK mechanism that is a bit wonky. The lock tends to reset itself at some point of the process, no matter how gentle your are with it. It just wonāt keep up with the movement anymore. Like, 50% of the thing goes alright, then suddenly the left stick makes the lock go backwards for no reason.
The āVery easyā ones are kind of doable, though. What I suggest is, take all the lockpicks from Peshek, then leave him for now, continue your path, and get on every single āvery easyā one you come across to level up. Then, when youāve leveled up enough, get back to Peshek and the executioner. The weird thing is, Being sort of a tutorial, why didnāt devs make the Peshek chest a very easy one to begin with ?!

I broke every lockpick he gave me. I got frustrated and didnāt come back to try it until after about 200 hours of game play. I understand where people are frustrated but I also know you have to sit down motivated and focused to learn how to lockpick. You canāt rush learning this like combat.
Lockpicks hard to come by? Dont all the millers sell them lmfao. Plus there are traders and merchants in the game that sells themā¦ i think the trader in talmberg sells them. If you cant complete the quest to steal the executioners ring then knock him out or even better just kill him then youāll unlock the fences.
People are easily beat when it comes to using their brain it seems. 50 hours yet finding lockpicks is too hard.
1)I canāt buy anything from the millers, because you have to complete āA Good Thiefā first I think.
2)The guy in Talmberg is the only other merchant who sells it I believe and he doesnāt sell much of them.
3)I donāt want to kill the executioner because I donāt play a murderer. Besides I want to do his later quest.
Apart from that I only found 3 lockpicks when killing bandits in 50 hoursā¦believe it or not.
Then knock him outā¦ tell him about the miller not paying enough follow him then back to his home and knock him out in the forest. As i said before the trader votava in talmberg sells picks make sure you do v.easy lock and not easy to start out with. Since the patch with all the markers you get while lockpicking it should be easy. Try starting the rotation of the left stick in a different position, i start 4/5 oclock and counter rotate (at first i was doing straight up and around but wouldnt workā¦ maybe stick is slight overused) while keeping the right stick sweet spot in orange.

Dumb reply! I have pc xbox and ps4 who gives a damnā¦ to me some games are just console games id rather chill out sitting or lying down infront of a big tv for rpgs etc. Pubg csgo hunt are the kind for game id rather play pc with a headset on to hear directional sound better. These types of games like kingdom come that aint needed so dont spout your pc master race consoles for kid bullcrap

I didnāt really have a problem with lock picking but the new interface is jus as bad as the old one its not the look thatās the problem its the controls on console that need tweeking like less jittering when you turn the lock because it can be quite fiddling to do
You donāt have to kill him. Knock him out take his keys and unlock the chest to get the ring.
well let me tell you video games are made for consoles long before PC. the PC is a tool for work handling a controller is much easier than a keyboard and mouse and it do not matter how nice you put it VIDEO GAMES ARE FOR KIDS if we adult ply it is because we still have something of kids inside
It jitters because you are low level all it takes is to get your level up a few times and it becomes smoother obviously its going to be hard for someone who has no xp in lockpicking. This aint skyrim where it takes 0 ability to open a lock.

If video game are for kids why do you get 18+ games lol im sorry but that is just wrong. Games are for anyone period. Iāve seen a streamer play pubg who is about 70 yrs old who gives a crap what age you are.
