LuKnee is absolutely right. If they don’t have the Skyrim fundings and they were not able to make the game working properly by 13 feb they should wait. But I’m not naive no worries it’s all about money. They had the date and their funders were eager to get the money back so I guess they had no chance to say no we need more time…
I have refunded this game. It’s buggy and massively downgraded.
You know what you need to do.
I have. I have perpetual dirt either way. It’s not game breaking at all though so I don’t mind.
And yeah, itd be nice if they toned down how quickly you dirtied your gear lol. Like how did I get so filthy just going on a date? Ahah
Love this game though.
Maybe you were lucky (or i was just unlucky): i had very bad bugs there…
I guess it’s the same as with the guys here one is ok with the game on PS4 and the other one has some serious bugs.
I think so, too.
I’m not an expert but the game is huge and complicated and they released it on PC/consoles in the same time that must be quiet a bit of work to make it working properly for such a small studio that WH is. I recommend give them few weeks and you’ll see. I do the same I uninstalled the game and waiting for the patch 1.3
Same case here. Not all of us experience the issues our friend over here has
If you want to talk about a disastrous launch, talk about BF4 or TW:Rome II
Couldnt ahre more. Trying to make game easier when they should be optimizing it. Pc is no picnic either
No, to thread author.
I have intel i5-4460, Geforce 780. However… I tried downclocking GPU from 1006 mhz to 954 mhz. It’s actually working right now… Haven’t had a crash for 2 hours… Hope hope this did the trick… in any case, it really made a difference…
When Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall came out Bethesda was about the same size as WH and I can tell you from personal experience this game is a dream to play in comparison. Does it have bugs, glitches ect… yes but EVERY game does some more some less. This is especially true for a massive world with everything this game includes, the more stuff in the game the more stuff to go wrong. I’ve enjoyed myself so much during my 2 complete playthroughs that if I had too I would buy it again w/o hesitation, and yes I play on console (Xbox One S).
then be glad you didn’t experience no Mans sky, which I assume you didn’t based on the title.
Im playing on PS4 Pro and maybe im a lucker idk, but i have 140 hours after me and only one serious problem was with side quest that bugs save system and other NPC. Solution was to play through conversation a bit different. For those 140 hours i had about 5 game crashes, thats all… I dont care about slow LOD, missing textures and heads, its visible that is has something to do with memory optimalization and im sure they will solve this soon. Some of other bugs were funny but non of them bugged the game to the state where it wouldnt be playable. I dont even have problem with loading before conversations, takes usually 3 sec.
That’s strange. Are you having heat issues?
nope, no heat issues… I played many hours yesterday, no crash so far, even put up the quality from low to high, so I really recommend trying downclocking if you’re having DXGI Device Hung…
Bought ps4 game on disc. Was horrible from launch state. Problem ended up that i was playing a save game without update 1.1 (launch update). The game updated after that so I thought everything was fine. But still, some of the evil was left in my save game. Ended up deleting all my save games (yes started over 30 hours of gameplay). Second new fresh playthrough the game runs luke the wind, no problems at all. About 50 hours in now.
Well you don’t know when the next bug is going to hit you. I got mine 29 hours into the game.
Warhorse studios have about 80 employees from what I have read, not sure how many of those are developers but being a developer myself I know it’s not really possible or any more efficient to task all of them with fixing 2-3 specific bugs, compared to breaking it down and assigning it to a individual dev or pair.
I’m sure these issues are at the top of the priority list and the devs that have the most experience with consoles is working on it, and whoever created the save system looking into corrupt saves, and so on.
So why not put the rest into fixing quest bugs, graphic clipping, and requested features like “save & exit” instead of doing next to nothing in parts of the code they might not even worked on before.
Just trying to explain how it usually works, without any actual insight into Warhorse. Sucks that you have had more issues than most (it seems), hopefully they get it playable for you soon.
HURRAJ! I have 108 hours in the game, gamesave on 45 most because of bugs and reload because of them. I still continued the great game. Today the game fucked me over and im stuck in the mainstory. my oldest save are three days old but its still bugged when trying to reload. I am very angry but also sad about this, because it is a great game without the bugs, but to night i had enough. I am never ever playing this again. Warhorse does not deserve my money or my time.
