I was being generous…and technically millions is just a bunch of thousands lol. But you’re probably right lol
By spending more time on the PC version, and working out the bugs and kinks, when actual release occurred they could spend more time devoted to fixing issues with consoles.
Hell with the extra income from early access they could have put more resources towards bug fixing consoles before release as well.
Like I said hindsight is 20/20, early access would have been done about a year ago before actual release, therefore consoles might have gotten a better product by this time…

Just wait until you’re a good 20hrs into the game and it crashes and then when you reboot the game (PS4) it tells you a save file is corrupted and then you have to create a new one to even play the game and then you discover that it deleted ALL YOUR SAVE FILES and you have to start over. It’s happened twice to me already. Woof. The game is broken! What does it have to be so fun though?!
I like this game right now more than a fully patched and modded skyrim and Bethesda is a huge dev company.
Yes game I AM gully dissapointed in: Forza 3 horizon.
Made by microsoft and is the perfect example of gimping software (for non console platform).
For a game sold to me as offline and working; months of patches kept it from working reliably and left it in a worse state than what was sold initially.
Literally the worst possible way to deliver software.
Worst support imaginable
Unfit for sale/bordeline fitness for use.
Back to not even working- requires internet nowadays just to fire up- and no longers passes ‘optimising for my PC’- a redundant step added to the software just to annoy pc players (it optimises nothing-just rejects most peoples hardware setups); drops to desktop- unable -yet again- to be started.
This is the polished version of the software-operating in accordance with microosft wishes- and it is useless- except for envouraging xbox sales.
Runs fine on xbox with licensed steering wheels and xbox live subscriptions. Xbox even gets split screen gameplay and HDR colour…
It is an example of software designed to be poorly performing on one platform? Who would do that? (MICROSOFT!)
I would uninstall the game and reinstall it. I don’t know if that will mess up your saved game files but after the restart I would probably just start fresh and see if you have better luck. I am playing on my OG 4 year old PS4 and I’ve had few bugs but not many that are game breaking. I’m sorry to hear about your struggles and hopefully something I said helps you get the enjoyment you want out of the game.
