Night Raid - Flee is fucked up

just wanna say that i believe you guys are right. the game has many bugs and most quest are badly optimised and taken of. Game is great but has some issues related to key quests and missions.

i want to say also that i was able to go through this exact mission using your tips.

  • great community (adds to the game!)

I like this game quite a bit…however, it has far too many bugs for a release. I just finished the Night Raid mission. My character is built to takedown enemies and he is at his best when fighting three or more. This fight is infuriating, not because it is hard, I killed at least twenty bandits. It is difficult because it is chocked full of slow down and bugs. I had a friendly literally hitting me while I was attempting to get the prince out of the castle. He simply would not relent and I could not attack him as my character would go through the motions and stop short of contact. I somehow got away bleeding from my head, chest, feet, and both of my hands broken.

I find it literally fascinating that so many of you on this board are defending this. When I have to repeatedly check that I do not have too many saves (corruption bug), picking up the wrong item (blacked out character bug), inability to complete multiple side quests (vagabond stuck in stocks, mission required characters stuck outside the map ect…), and of course repeated manual power cycles just to avoid disappearing buildings. This is beyond broken and it should have been addressed before going gold. If you are defending this- you are part of the problem.

Demand more for your money not less and never settle for mediocrity. This rings especially true with Kingdom Come Deliverance as this developer clearly has talent. I have never quite experienced awe while being thoroughly infuriated at the same time. Stop defending the bugs and crashes. Report what you see to the developers and I guarantee they will correct them. When you stand in defense of this it sends a message that these bugs are not important and can be fixed at a much later date. I hope by reading this it will give you an understanding as to why people become extremely angry when they attempt to address a bug and you respond with “it’s not really a problem” or the extremely idiotic response of “Get gud.”

Capon wasn’t on the ground, he was standing up and kept whining for me to carry him. After him bleeding out 4 or 5 times i finally just quit. I’ve tried killing all the enemies, I’ve tried sitting by him for a few minutes, but there’s no option for me to pick the fucker up.

Now with the Tournament and BoB DLCs it is fairly easy to level up Henry to a point where you can kill all bandits during flee. But some of the doors in the castle are just locked and there is nothing you can do nor does the quest update.

This really breaks the immersion for me. Why can’t there be a plotline where you succeed with the night raid?

Well as much as I want this kind of plotline - this would make building a trebuchet unnessasary. In that case the castle could be taken by let Istvan starf.

The bandits can open the doors for you. There’s nothing there though. The hostages aren’t there, and Toth only exists as a cutscene character. There is a Toth NPC, but he doesn’t have any of the cutscene gear, or the sword.

Plot reasons.

I can’t say I like it either, but then I thought the same of the Pribyslavitz battle, or any number of other plots. Who needs an army? Just send in a Henry. They even make a joke about it in the BoB DLC, at the end, Henry mentions how nothing ever seems to get done unless he’s the one that does it.

There’s a few outcomes. You save the peasants, which is as close to success as you’re going to get. You fail because you’re discovered. The default, where Hans gets shot in the ass, and you carry him out. There’s also one where Henry “dies” but is saved by Hans.
