OPEN the shop NOW!

Who cares?
As long as you have a credit card…

I want to get a few extra copies of the game

You can give me money if you want, I don’t mind. A simple matter of transfer. Account to account.

Monday and still no shop -.-

I hope there will be more items and merchandise than just pledges.

I was disscusing this somewhere else. We were talking about some high quality cloth map of game. I’d like to see this map on my wall. .

Warhorse obviously has a totally different meaning of ‘soon’ than I have…

i hope that they will sell those swords

and another week passed by…
but take your time warhorse
its just the word soon thats confusing…

I think “soon” means the same for them as what it means to NamcoBandai…Namco said for several MONTHS they will release additional information on the pc release date of DarkSouls2 “soon”…

Come on Warhorse -.- I’ve been waiting for the shop SINCE YOU STARTED THE KICKSTARTER.

Ah-haha…
Flood gates… classic… :stuck_out_tongue:

Well…let’s think this way…since the probable release date for the alpha is about 3-4 months from now, I believe that if they create a shop, it should be near the release of the beta. I believe alpha should be for the people which supported in KS (since there were other pledges that gave no acess to alpha). What’s probably gonna happen is that WH will sell the game after the beta (that’s what I suppose).

I dont think so.
It doesnt matter if you support via Kickstarter or the shop. I would’ve supported on KS if I had a credit card.
If you pledge the same amount of money like the supporters on KS you should also get access to alpha version.
What do you mean by selling the game after beta? early access? or do you mean when its ready? I dont think they are going to throw an unfinished game on the market…

It’s taking too long for the shop to open.

Well the word “soon” is used totally wrong on their website.

would you rather they take longer to set up a secure venue that works properly or throw shit together in a couple of weeks then get hacked, lose support, and let your credit card info get out?

there’s nothing going on in the interim so i don’t know why you need the shop to open up so soon. alpha is still months away.

Throw shit fast together? Like Star Citizen that put up paypal store before KS ended? I’m sure we don’t want to see a failure like that…
On a more serious note - if they put some date rather then ‘soon’ I’m sure everyone would have easier time waiting for it rather then checking every day and seeing it’s not done yet.

They do accept Debit Cards from other countries as long as it’s Visa or MasterCard. If not you could also pledge through PayPal which accepts funds transferred from bank.

In some countries soon means whenever you get around to it, this is apparently widely accepted in mexico. I don’t know if they’re unique in that or if it’s similar with other cultures as well.

No, you could not pledge through paypal, regardless of whether or not it accepts funds from the bank (it actually even automatically withdraws funds if you want it to). That doesn’t change the fact that KS doesn’t accept paypal. Regardless of paypal-internal settings.

To that guy blubbering nonsense like “only KS-backers should get alpha access” … seriously? I would’ve backed the project from day one if I could have. But alas, I don’t have a credit card (over here in germany, rather few people do compared to 'murica). So you’re telling me that because of this, I should not be able to participate in the alpha, even when I pledge exactly the same amount you did albeit by sheer necessity a little later?
Wow. Aren’t you entitled.

OK guys we really need to skip the “murica” insults. I understand where both of you are coming from. However I disagree with only kickstarter backers should receive alpha so long as a person becomes a backer after the KS ends why shouldn’t they get access. Kickstarter is a fantastic website though there have been many projects that have ended with a week or less of me noticing it Normally I need two or three weeks in advance to work out my campaign contribution and budget for it. So if a project is still a long way off and can use more contributions to get more done should they say “sorry you missed your deadline” no of course not it’s ludicrous. Same goes for payment methods. Not all payment methods are available for all people. Though for projects like this a person does need some sort of e-payment. You can’t expect to send cash in the mail. I hope that we can keep conversations civil.
