OPEN the shop NOW!

That wasn’t meant as an insult, by the way … ^^

It’s obvious that whether someone pledged during the KS campaign or afterward, as long as they pony up at the required level they should all get alpha/beta/whatever access.

Anything else is simply silly.

Wow…not cool. I’m sure HE cares, just like I care that I’m an American.

I work for a priest from Columbia and we have a large Hispanic/Latin American community in our parish. He will be the first to say “even though a function is scheduled at a certain time, it will start at least a half hour later.” On the flip side, it never ends when scheduled and we have to tell them it’s time to leave, lol. He says it’s definitely a cultural thing and they are all aware of it, without meaning to be rude or disrespectful to others. It’s really hard to schedule his calendar that way.

I’d totally buy one. And a cloth/rubber mouse pad with this map; looks brilliant.

I asked Warhorse on Facebook and they answered with “not as long as Half Life 3”…well…

Be persistent, reply to them and ask again if you want. Ask if you can get an approximate time of which they are hoping for.
I’d like to know myself since i have a couple of friends with some bit too heavy wallets who are also waiting for it.

If their wallets start to feel too heavy I’'ll be glad to carry that burden.

I did not use a credit card I use a debit card. So I feel sorry for anyone that did not buy because they thought you need credit.

It’s been 40 days since the Kickstarter drive ended, and a web based storefront sign was posted SHOP COMING SOON.

That’s 120 days in Horse years!

Warhorse team: Can we get an update on store development please? Heeya, giddyup!!
tnx

I am a bit worried that at this point a lot of the forward momentum from the Kickstarter campaign has begun to wear out. I think if the store had gone up sooner after the campaign conclusion they would have brought in a decent increase in crowd funding.

With that said, I wonder if they’ll be putting up any new stretch goals. At some point they have to say “that’s it” and build the game without any questions as to what must be included. Since it’s still early in the development I suppose there could still be some goals. I wonder what they’d be?

Dan Vávra said on his Twitter it will took little bit longer, I guess they have some issues. No problem at all.

I too am worried that Warhorse is losing it’s momentum with the late opening of the shop. Once it comes out they should spread the word, ask people who did videos and articles on them to show support, etc.

I’m not worried about momentum at all. This is not a project that is going to go the route of Star Citizen in getting millions and millions of dollars. They proved their point with the Kickstarter project and with a good year and a half or more before expected release, there’s more than enough time to get the shop the way they need it to be and get more of the word out again - something we can also help spread around at the right time.

I’m not worried at all. I would rather see them all working on game than shop, but hey, if it should help to bring some more funds to devs, why not, but no stress guys.

They should rather establish a stable and working system than a rushed shop which causes problems somewhere down the line…

And I guess the project will gain some (press) momentum again when we’ll get the first alpha version.

Yep. Gives the company an unprofessional look to have it saying “Soon” for so long. People might think if they can’t put a bloody website together, how can they make an open world RPG properly.

Read Dan’s newest blog post on the topic (http://kingdomcomerpg.com/?p=406). It’s not a technical problem with the webpage or anything. It’s a question of taxes and laws, something a game developer usually doesn’t have to take care of himself when working with a publisher. They are the first devs in the Czech Republic to crowd fund a video game so they are pioneers here. It’s not always that easy to act according to laws and legislation if you lack the experience. It needs time to sort that out so just be a little bit more patient. According to Dan the shop should be opened the next days, perhaps even today with a first batch of testing tiers to be extended later…

Yeah, because making an e-shop without delays and any issues is something which matters the most and everybody expecting it… from game developers.

So maybe it would be better to write: Coming end of April. Or something similar, instead of “soon” for months.
