Can someone explain to me how to get 60 FPS in Rattay? It still drops to 25 frames, even with every setting on low. My setup: GeForce GTX 1070, Intel i5-6600K 3.50 GHz, 16 gb RAM, on a tv monitor. Latest GeForce driver installed. Pretty clueless in general. Thank you in advance for all of the help!
hi what a great game
Yep, Rattay could be a new Benchmarktool. That area is so tough to process.
Gerard. Would you care to explain a bit excactly what the mod does or how you tweak it.
I have also tried with a optimization mod, but it ended with a worse result, so I worry I didnt do it correct.
I also use a gtx 1070, but higher cpu and ram, which would mean it should be tweaked a bit differently, right?
thx
I prefer this one myself… You just download the one that fits your system and drop the user.cfg file into your main kcd folder then add +exec user.cfg to your launch options in steam… https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/482?tab=files
You will need to make a couple of changes inside the file to match your ram and vram.
Also if you are using a SSD add these lines to your user.cfg file to improve texture streaming…
sys_budget_sysmem = 7000
sys_budget_videomem = 4096
r_TexturesStreamPoolSize = 4096
r_TexturesStreamingMaxRequestedMB = 560
r_TexturesStreamingResidencyTime = 120
r_texturesstreamingDeferred = 1
r_TexturesStreamingResidencyEnabled = 1
r_TexturesStreamingMipBias = -3
r_TexturesStreamingResidencyThrottle = 0.8
e_PreloadMaterials = 1
sys_PakStreamCache = 1
sys_preload = 1
You will need top change the 7000 to your SSD’s speed and the 2nd to your vram amount.
I also have a GTX 1070 but with an old i7 3770 and 8gb of ddr3 with it installed on a SSD and I have HD textures turned on and am running the apex reshade… Here is a screenshot of me in rattay and you can see I’m getting 52 fps…outside of rattay i get around 60 everywhere with the reshade on and well over that with it off… https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1523186164
Here is a before and after with the apex reshade on and off… here it is off… https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1538648290 and here it is on https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1523186096
Very nice info. thanks.
Exactly the part with ram and Vram is what I think I didnt do right.
A thousand thanks with the SSD part, I’ll have to test that.
What is a ssd’s speed, the number 7000… is it reading speed or??
hi what a great game
Download this and run it and it will tell you the speed… https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6014-as-ssd-benchmark.html
That’s cool man. Would save someone a lot of time downloading them all at the same time like that. My question is, different configs often use different options when you install reshade. So everyone of those configs uses every single downloaded option when you install reshade? I will try it out and see what it looks like. I have tried apex, ceano, pefection, and ultimate and apex has been my favorite so far. Do you have a favorite one?
I just watched the vid… Does your mod add those graphics options in the menu? And what resolution are you running? Also what kind of performance hit does it give?
That’s a good thing… I like to try and stay as close to the original as possible with just a little better clarity and lighting mostly.
I just downloaded it and about to try it out
Wow, I gotta say man… That is impressive. I installed both the preset and the reshades and they look great and I’m getting a steady 60FPS.
Nice glad it helped out,have fun
@gerardfraser @MattP598 , Thank you both for the quick help!!! I had planned on testing it this morning, but I must wait until the evening. I’ll keep you posted! Thanks again.
No problem… Hope it works out for you.
well this was a nice group of messages to come home to.
After I’ve gotten something to eat, I’ll get on it and see what I can do with my game.
Did the test… So its not speed we’re looking at. its the score it gets???
Which only lands on 1189. I thought the EVO 850 would do better. Which one do you have?
edit: let me rephrase that… what the beep kind of a monster hdd do you use. or is the 7000 a fictional number in this case?
And just curious, what about the third line, should that match the second?
