Hi. I’m not sure you understand that in “Beta”, although you are playing part of the game, that game is not the final game version. In other words it is not the released game and players (not to mention reviewers) understand that this is a Work In Progress. Evidence of this is also seen in the upper right hand corner of the screen while playing the Beta of KC:D. If you do understand this, I do not understand your complaint. When it is said that “Updating the Beta would need a lot of time and not contribute to the final game at all.” that does not mean “We are not addressing any problems seen in Beta”.
My opinion is that many players of Beta feel that they are simply “getting to play the game early”. Respectfully, you should, in my opinion, consider yourself a “Beta Tester”. Now please do not remind me that you paid. Yes it is true. I know. However you did not pay to be a Beta Tester, you paid to get the game when released AND you can now also play the Beta.
“No help in the options” is not a deficiency that will ship with the released game. This forum is part of the help you may receive at present, in my opinion. The reviews of the game will not be based on the Beta. Sales will be influenced by reviews of the products that ships.
You seem to be concerned that deficiencies in Beta are what will ship with the released game. Frankly I see no evidence of this, and if Warhorse is so foolish as to do that, then they deserve what happens to them. When it is evident that then have done it, then I will be one of the ones stating it. Right now, what we have is that the personal enjoyment of the Beta players is not maximized, which is a different thing. Please be reasonable and understand that what you see in Beta is not what you will get in the Release. Beta is a tool, and that tool is of limited use now.
