OOP progammmg can cause that yes because of things being linked but that’s no excuse for all the bugs included in a full release.
So explain why both companies are now issuing refunds with zero argument left and right? This isn’t normal for them so they must see something wrong.
Sony are awful to get refunds from and Microsoft normally won’t do one after 2hrs yet I got my refund after 48hrs play time with no need to explain myself. It was a 3 min phone call that couldn’t have gone any easier. When I asked how come I managed to get a refund so easily with my playtime she said she was not allowed to comment on it. That says to me that your in Poo city.
It’s not down to Sony and Microsoft to quality test the game, the amount of game breaking bugs are unforgivable and the level of communication has helped nothing. I’m used to playing games in microsofts preview programs which are riddled with bugs as they are pre-release titles sold at half price and to put it bluntly they are in a much better position than this game currently is. It has a great coat of paint when textures actually load and things aren’t popping in under your feet but thats about all it has. Foundations and mechanics are completely trashed. 80% of the quests are ride a million miles or fast (slow) travel across the map and talk to some boring NPC nobody who tells you to go talk to some other boring NPC nobody. The combat feels tagged on because the AI is beyond painful to even enjoy fighting.
At least PUBG was released as a pre-release and even stated it’s not a full game or even in beta yet, on top of that it was half the price. This is completely different than a full released game.
Then perhaps the Devs should have held off a console release if they couldn’t do it justice and kept to the pc? It looks as though this was a money grab throwing it onto consoles broken for extra sales. Had they stuck to the pc maybe they could have brought out a more polished game then looked at a console release further down the line?
What’s beyond me is peoples acceptance of poor products. Who cares how complex the product is. As a consumer you should expect a working product…whatever it is, no matter how simple or complex. Go buy yourself a space shuttle then…one that’s waiting on upgrades that actually allow it to fly in space, or land, or launch, or any vital function and tell me you’re ok with it because it’s such a complex thing so you should expect tons of functions to not work because how on earth can we expect a finished space shuttle to fly in space?!..it’s so complex! no way we should expect a space shuttle to fly in space! It’s the same with games, I don’t care if it’s hard or complex to make. It should work and perform as advertised. It should not have been released yet.
I made a post about this earlier yes its completely true. And I dont think it will ever change because its human nature to want to buy a new game if you like the look of it. The only way to stop it would be for everyone in the world not to buy a said game or for them all to return it which is never going to happen… ever. There will always be people who will wait for patches rather than do any of the above. So my opinion for this particular game is that ive had 4-5 random crashes in my many many hours of gameplay and not really any game breaking/experience destroying bugs. So for me in this situation i can wait for patches because this norm isnt going to change anytime soon…
I just asked you why you’re posting in here? You asked me the same thing in the other thread, are you trying to get a refund or yet again defending the game?
You’re right that the norm probably wont change anytime soon. User experience is so all over the place with this game, while some say it’s great and the best RPG of all time others like me on xbox have frequent freezes, crashes, save game file corruption, hideous pop in graphics and textures simply not rendering and absurd A.I. experiences. It’s hard not to buy a game you’ve been looking forward to for such a long time on the day it’s released.
I know how you feel and its a shame everyone else cant have a less buggy experience out of this.
am sorry about that if those happened to me i would do the same thing but am on normal ps4 and i didnt see many bugs just a few bugs that didnt bother me i played about 35h now only had 1 crash
I think that this game should have been a PC exclusive for at least 6 months so the devs could concentrate on getting it to a solid polished state before bringing it to console. It has been unfair on console players to say the least.
well @DoctorSparky am glad they didn’t, am on ps4 and am having alote of fun. so far I only had 3 bugs which didnt really bother me and reported them all to WH . and I completely forgive them for the texture pop ups
Good to hear. A mate of mine is enjoying it on his ps4 but many other players are feeling burned. Its a shame because the game is quite good.
Lucky I’m struggling to get one as a PC backer. Christian said they won’t issue refunds which is absurd.
show screen shot you even ever playing the game samsam89 or stop boring people, no one cares if you got refund, move on.
Think you will find plenty of people care, as is evident from this thread. So, move on pal
Also why would I need to post a screen shot? Lol. The games bugged to death, everyone’s well aware of this.
Making a buggy game is not going to make it easier for gamers to want to keep it…
That’s what happens when you choose to buy a gaming system whose maker is hell bent on making it as close and proprietary as possible, while putting sticks in the wheels of every independent developer who didn’t sign an exclusivity deal.
It’s sad that the game isn’t working for you, and it’s sad that you are too childish to wait a few weeks and give a developer who is new on the scene and who is making a BIG entrance the chance to prove they want to actually make a good game and support it correctly… Any intelligent person can see that the put a fuckload of heart into KCD, that’s got to account for something.
Now, there is no need to go on the forums of said developers and advocate to ask for a refund, so now that you got your 60 bucks back you can go buy a 60 bucks game from Activition or EA but prepare yourself for the same launch bugs and also to shell out double that amount to even start to find a sense of pride and accomplishment while playing.
Children asking for refunds after not even a couple of weeks is not going to make newcomers willing to risk their job to bring something actually fresh to the gaming community.
i cannot play a game that broken on ps4, i live in canada and i want a refund
