But it IS your kind of mindset enables developers to release pisspoor performing, buggy and non optimized games. If you do not try to get your money back, then you are telling game devs that you are fine with that kind of game releases. Look at it this way, you are handing in your car to the autoshop to get a new polish. When you come back a few days later, the mechanic gives you your car back, totally dented and all scratched up. Here you go he says, pay me now. Full price. Would you really do that? And say, oh well, i will just drive my car when it is dark then. I would ask the mechanic to redo the job, or ask for my money back. Like any other sane person. Same with games or anything you buy, if it is broken get your money back.

I understand your Anger…But the Big gaming companies are Not going to Change anything when you do harm to their small opponents. Its Companies Like EA that destroy the world of gaming, Not small Studios Like WH that are trying to get Innovation Done… Sometimes i Wish, that the game would’ve become Less popular, so they would’ve Had the Chance to Focus on smaller Bits at First.

its anybody’s right to get a refund. Its better to give money back than to have pissed customers. Judging from position of KDC on most played list on steam and seeing how many play on consoles as well and stream the game few refunds isnt gonna hurt the devs.
The game gets buggier as you progress, thats a fact. The game also gets more and more enjoyable as you get into it, learn new combat moves … There is no point in shitting on the devs, it wont help make the game better. Its great to report bugs, that helps fixing the game.
What makes me sad is how people forget about buggy launches of other games including Skyrim and The Withcer 3. Open Worlds are hard to debug because butterfly effects
People keep reffering to TW3 and other games that were buggy at launch. I actually had both TW3 and Skyrim from day one. It is true, they had some birth.defects. But NOTHING like this. When i booted up the witcher 3 it felt like a finished game, with some bugs, and the occational fps problems. But this feels like early alpha. I have tried to play it for a while, noway NEAR 50 hours as suggested above. And i have found more bugs in 10 to 15 hours of this game, than in my almost 500 hours in Skyrim. And that puts me of a bit. So thats why i unnderstand the urge for refunds. I will give it to after the next patch, to see if it gets fixed. Cause i actually think WH has some really good ideas.

Why do you ask me about the decisions of Sony and Microsoft. Please ask them about their decision.
1.0 Version of the game was tested by Deep Silver, Sony and Microsoft for weeks and we passed their certification. Otherwise the game wouldn´t be available on Console.

I contacted PSN for refund also asked them will I be able to buy game later when its patched. I heard that if you get a refund for a broken game they will block your console indisposing you from playing this game in the future on your hardware. They are saving your copy license number or some other stuff. Im gonna post info as soon as i get response from customer service

I’ve never heard this before but I doubt it, it’s not your fault the game does not work so they cannot blame you for wanting a refund and block you from buying it again in the future, should it become fixed. When I was refunded, the game became locked on my account, when you click on the game it gives you the option to purchase it again.

We have a few thousand emails to answer here, it will take a while to do this.
Then can you please issue me a refund so I don’t have to bound here for a couple more weeks.
Im just waiting this out. After the comming patch we shoukd have a better outlook

So anyone else try to get a refund on ps4 in USA? they wouldn’t refund me when I tried a few days ago.

no doubt your next post will be how your going to do a class action law suit.
The fact of the matter is the game is extremely buggy, even large media outlets have said as much in numerous articles. A Forbes article writer even said he wasn’t going to play the game until later because of it. Why there are a handful of people on here defending this is beyond me, selling a defective product is wrong no matter WHAT type of product it is plain and simple and there is no justification for it end of story. It’s also against the law in many jurisdictions.

You seem lost, this thread is to help guide people to get a refund, for those of us where the game simply does not work. Not just a few bugs, litterally does not work. I.e. it crashes constantly. I don’t know how much more plain I can make that for you. I don’t know why you have come into this thread telling me to move on or come to the conclusions you have. It’s like you can’t read or something
Anyway, by all means, continue to bend over and enjoy the game.

I was just straight with them, said I’ve never asked for a refund before and I know I’ve got a 48hr game time but more than half of that play time is replaying the game when bugs have cost me and I’ve had to go back or lost saves etc. Explained how I play a lot of indie games that are sold much cheaper with less issues but you expect it with them. If a game is going to be sold at premium price then it needs to live up to it and people who keep saying you can’t compare it to games like AC:origins or horizon zero dawn… well you can because I paid the same for them and they blow this awfully buggy game clean out the water. Huge open worlds beautifully crafted with nowhere near the bugs or glitches with 10 times the AI.
Just tell them it’s completely unfair that a game has been sold in this state and your game time is only a testament to your tolerance and will power to enjoy the game but you simply can’t because you feel ripped off by the Dev for putting such an unfinished product on the store.
You’ve just got to sympathy it because they have been handing out refunds like hot cakes
