The recent patch for PS4 consisted of 3 “fixes”. R2 button (attack) sometimes not registering when you press and TBH it barely ever happened I didn’t find it a problem, and something to do with Hans capon and the quest with ginger which I didn’t have any problems with, unsure if anyone else did. 2 weeks to fix 3 problems that many players passed on day 1 takes the biscuit. Maybe in a couple of years they’ll have something close to a playable game. It’s really disappointing because this game could be one of the best there is

I’m in a weird position over here. I haven’t bought the game yet and I am hyped for the game after a few patches come out.
For the people who demand refunds I totally get it. If I was in your position I’d be livid, too. I actually was ready to buy it on release day until I heard the day 1 patch was going to be over 20 gigs. The second I heard that I knew the game was in the process of being overhauled and I saved myself the headache by not buying it… yet.
I really want to support the game but I have to do the prudent thing and listen to both sides of the coin even though I am dying to play this. Fortunately time and money is on my side. I can buy this whenever I feel the game is bug free and up to standard or if not I can choose to not buy it. Either way I am paying really close to what the developers are doing and so far as someone who has not bought the game yet and is very much anticipating it I’d say it looks like they are trying really hard to get the game to where they want and promised it would be. They already released 3(?) patches already and are working on another large one that is supposed to be coming out in the next two weeks. Ideally it would be awesome if the next patch fixes everything but we all know that’s a really tall order so I’m going to wait. In the mean time I got Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball Fighter Z and Monster Hunter: World to keep me busy. If the game gets fixed to the point where it is bug free and stable I will happily buy it.
This thread here is definitely something I needed to read. It’s a good reminder for me to keep waiting rather than jump the gun and buy something I could potentially regret. I’m just sorry that it is happening to you guys. Hopefully you guys either get your money back or if anything they fix the game to the point where it is not only stable and bug free but also into an incredible final product.

w/e Psn is a shitty company I spend over $2,000 dollars on ps4 in these past few years and they can’t even refund a broken game. btw it is complete shit trying to lockpick in this game i spend 2 hrs on it, they should complete remove the lockpick from the game imo.
I read the store page to get a rough understanding what the game is about (only heard about it 2 weeks or so ago).
Then I looked threw the reviews and decided to buy the game anyway, despite having read of the many bugs. I have very mixed feelings about this game and in the end wish I never heard about it
Ok been reading this thread and I kinda have to say if people are truely unhappy with the game and their respective platform is willing to give them a refund, good for them.
Now that’s out the way my second gripe…this forum and in part this game in general.
First off this forum has no dedicated areas for console players to discuss issues with with one another without having some PC master racer coming and chiming in. I have seen this in many many threads here especially in the game play and hardware sections. If I have an issue with my game (whichever game it is) I usually go to that developers site and look for the the sections applicable to my platform, I don’t go post in the PC section cause obviously it makes no sense.
Here a consoler starts a thread complaining about a specific issue and it’s not long and some PC master racer will chime in as to how dumb console are and that we should be lucky the game runs on our machines and there is usually a high chance that these naysayers (for which the game runs flawlessly and who shower praises on WH) were Kickstarter backers, now feel obligated to defend this game.
Fine good for you, but just remember this game was optimized to run on PC, so if you have a good rig it will run with less or “no” issues. This game was NOT OPTIMIZED to run on consoles and that is glaringly apparent. So the bull needs to stop with consoles getting told off by other members of this forum with regards to their very valid complaints.
Don’t get me wrong, I like this game very much, it has a good story and some good mechanics, but right now it’s a buggy low poly count, low texture eyesore for consolers.
I play on a ps4 pro with a Samsung SUHD quantum dot 65" tv with a 10 bit color gamut and full HDR support (not HDR premium, which is basically simulated HDR). Ik what my console is capable of. I have played the Witcher 3, I have played Assasins Creed Origins they look stunning. So there is no excuse.
If this game was not ready then why was it released? If this game was not meant for consoles then why was it ported? I will tell you why. The console market is much more lucrative the the PC market and more copies sold on multiple platforms makes business sense. PC release only would have cut the return on there investment by half if not 3 quarters. But they shamed us by providing PC players (their intended audience) with an optimized game and left the console players with sloppy seconds. Basically a money grab.
The pain for many console players would have been a lot less if this games price point was at $30 which I think would have been a fair price for the version that was provided to console players.
I’m still playing though, I will get my money’s worth come hell or high water, but if a disgruntled ps4/pro/Xbox player can get a refund, good for them.

You should’ve gotten a refund for your ps4 so you could get an xbox and play kcd (the best game made in years) 
If you’ve got the patients I’d defiantly hold off on buying it just until there have been a few fixes for it. Most of the bugs I’ve had just start to pile up and ruin the gameplay experience

Ive got the xbox and it works. Im not a PlayStation fan, never have been. But typically when its an awesome game, PlayStation owners either have the most problems or perceived the most problems. My cure for this, get rid of the PlayStation and enjoy good games
Lol I get what you mean, playing both consoles Xbox defiantly handles large scale rpg’s a lot better than ps but I don’t even think that would help with how buggy this game is getting

I wont deny their are bugs, just for me it hasnt been an issue. The game itself is sublime.
My game was the same near the beginning. It feels like the further I try to progress the more things start messing up which is really disappointing seeing as I’ve been waiting for this game for a while. Visually though it’s got to be the best looking game I’ve ever played

I didn’t realize how good it looked until after two weeks (im the guy that doesn’t notice hair changes). But once i did i was like “damn”. I waa focused on the content, like combat, stealth, and alchemy… So much fun to have in this game world
