I’ve spent endless hours on this quest just because it’s just me VS 4 enemies! When I run away and fight the guy in the black heads up, he kills me with 2 sequential hits, although I hit hit him 10+ times (with blood)! Who the hell made this shit??
What a joke this game is! Spend endless time on stupid quests yourselves! Such a waste of money and time!
Fight from your mount early game if you are having problems. Mounted combat is OP, specially with a bow. Shoot gallop away. Rinse and repeat until level up your skills. Or you can train with Bernard.
The game has many flaws, but this one is on you. If your skill isn’t enough to handle this, then train up Henry’s skill.
Also, why would you spend endless hours on a pointless side quest?
Bows, stealth, poison, horses, not sucking. Choose one.
Go training with Bernard in Rattay and increase you combat stats.
Or go to rattay and buy nighthawk potions from the alchemist, ride out about midnight and stealth kill them all.

I already did all trainings with bernard and have great plating/sword. I’ll check your options if I play it again.
Doing them once gives you minimal stats. Bernard even comments that you’re now not completely useless, but still bad.
Which is pointless if you don’t have great sword skill, which you won’t if all you did was the training.
You can keep training as long as you want to continue improving your sword skill for example. What’s you current sword level?
I did a few trainings with Bernard and the sword skill is ok.
The problem is that when I block hits, it doesn’t block at all instead I f***ing die right there!!! Even with the shield. Also when I click attack attack it does nothing but accept hits, what a disgusting combat system!
My sword level is 5. Defense is 3.
Not strong enough yet. It’s like your hitting them with a wet noodle.
If you prefer to fight them straight up, draw them to you while mounted and string them out so you can have single combat.
5/20. That’s noob level. Add to which you’re obviously bad. I assume your strength is equally low? What ever “great” sword you have is either too high level for you to use, or is not that great.
I understand that my levels are below medium because I only played the game for ~20 hours. The quests are supposed to fit my levels, what jerks made the quest 3 times harder than my level is. I can’t possibly have fought that much neither could i have the gold for great plating. Some of the game aspects are too hard like lockpicking which is driving everyone crazy.
Hit and run (on horse) or pure def and counter are your (humanko2) only hope until you get trained by Bernard and gain strength
Honestly, you’ll be laughing at your own original post. Combat becomes comically easy. You become super henry and smash through anything in your way. Just stick with it.
I killed every single starting Cuman. I even managed to do it with a 1 strength level 2 Henry. Just to see if it could be done. Your level is not the problem. However, if you are not able to do it with your current skills, either git gud, yes, really, or train Henry’s skills up to make it easier.
Bows. Horses. Stealth. Skill. Not being bad. Like I said, there are ways to do it.
simply visit Master Bernard near Rattay to push your defense and weapon skill to 10+. It may cost u some days and healing potions, but it will help you a lot.
I stealth killed them with that potion, thank you so much! it was a pleasure to kill the guy in the black, put his body on fire ahahahaha. somehow the quest is not marked as completed, wtf…
