Nicodemus asks me to get the weeds out of his garden, I have removed all nettles thistles and dandelions and nothing tells me that I have not finished. Is it a bug?
Please help me!

I found that there was no notification, as he has to check it manually to see if you messed up or not. If you go to him and tell him you’ve completed it, he’ll check.
yes he checks and every time he tells me I have not finished.
Yup. For me it still failed. He said i didn’t remove them but i sure didn’t see more of them.
after the eighth time he told me you did not do a good job, I passed it to the edge of the sword.
Sorry wish I could help. I’m guessing you went round the edges n stuff outwith the border too, along the wall and basically the whole bottom bit?
How far do the ‘gardens’ go?

yep, same thing here. quest must be bugged. btw those dandelions are really hard to spot at some places.
i harvested the whole patch before i got the quest. plot didn’t respawn 
The bit he wants done is as you go through to the garden, to the right on the right hand side of the path, if I remember right there is a very small wooden fence that surrounds it, and it made up of three? sections I think. I did those and the immediate area around it too before I tried to complete it.
UP! has anyone managed to complete this quest?
Thought i had them all the first time and he said i didn’t, did it again and he said i did good enough but said i missed some but it still completed, reloaded that save and noticed i had missed a nettle and then he said i did a perfect job. It’s just the 2 areas that need cleared.
Playing on PC - carefully picked the three weeds (mentioned above) from within, and close to, the bordered garden area. Picked one ‘weed’ accidentally since teagetting them is a bit tricky. No notification that the quest completed - went back to quest-giver, he checked - said I’d messed up a bit but quest completed fine.
Where is the location of his garden? I bring my own herbs and failed.

I thought I comment as it worked for me (playing on PS4).
I cleared all nettles, dandelions and thistles (weeds) but ONLY around the bottom section which is full of Eyebrights and the middle section which has mint.
I did NOT clear anything in the top section (surrounded by planks from 3 sides) which has Comfrey as Nicodemus only mentions Eyebright and Mint. I also didn’t pick up any weeds above the third section which only has nettles, dandelions and thistles. I went to Nicodemus afterwards and told him i’m done. He then went to check the garden and said that it wasn’t perfect but good enough and the quest was completed.
Make sure you check for dandelions as they are oftentimes hard to spot. Hope his helps!
I completed it fine, but he said I hadn’t finished when I first did it and I found a sneaky weed almost hidden inside an eyebright then it worked.
