I reported back to Sir Radzig and after telling me to go to Rovna to meet the merchant, he told me that he needs to talk to me. He then wandered off and when i tried to talk to him it was like i hadnt done the previous parts of the quest (asks if i interogated the hostage ect.). Now i have no quest objective and ive been stuck for hours.

Same problem. Tried loading a previous save, didn’t work. Might have to redo the quest entirely and make sure to report the plague first before curing it.
I’m also having this problem. Very frustrating can’t progress further. I’m on xbox one
Yeah, looks like curing the disease breaks the quest. I’ve tried every variation I could think of, and the only time I could get the cutscene to play was when the bandit died
Well, now I feel stupid. Cutscene plays if you head toward the cliff overlooking Talmburg right after the conversation with Sir Razdig. Doesn’t automatically start for whatever reason…
Hours of frustration because I didn’t think to take a few steps forward…
Okay, I’ve tried literally everything that’s been suggested. I’ve tried reloading; I’ve tried not skipping through the conversation for the fifteenth time; I’ve tried sleeping in every bedroll in the camp; I’ve tried going to Rattay, stay away for days and then returning to the camp; I’ve tried walking towards every cliff in the encampment; I’ve tried killing his horse. I’m officially out of ideas. Has anyone managed to find a fix or workaround yet?
Still looking for a fix on PS4… Did the same as you yesterday but no solution worked for me

Will our quest update automatically with the patch release in… 1 week ???

Supposed to go meet the merchant who makes the fake coin, and I have no quest marker.
I had the bug where Sir Radzig doesn’t appear at the lookout and managed do find him in Rattay, did the dialogue options, then he said he wanted to talk to me before I went, then it had a dialogue where I we were talking about the disease in the village, in the context it hadn’t been completed (Radzig asked to check at the monastery for help). Now no marker.
I’m guessing that its a progress conflict, where the conversation triggered a quest earlier on and broke the quest.
I am now probably going to brew some save potions to bug test at some point. I really hope the impeding update cleans some of this up.
Just got this bug, after I had restarted my game because of an earlier Main Quest bug. Thats over 60 hours of game time I’ve essentially lost now. This is getting extremely frustrating.
Got the same issue. Finally had a day off work to play a game I’ve waited almost four years for and now I’m stuck with this bug. Now I’m considering whether or not to start a new playthrough or wait for a fix. Hopefully a bug like this is priority 1, since it is gamebreaking.
Yes, I just tried your fix deadeagle and I was able to load an earlier save and complete the quest, THEN complete pestilence side quest. Still lost about 10 hours, but thankfully nothing important. Now I can beat that (SPOILERS) German Knight into the ground finally (END SPOILERS)

Holy sh*t, I am gonna try what you proposed, but it would cost me like 20 hours of gameplay as I went about doing various sidequests since then.

I didn’t really notice the error until I realized that the mission had run out of targets after talking to Sir Radzig.

Have the same problem here, 12 days have passed and the bug was still not patched. This bug breaks the main quest line it should be prioritized to fix it. I won’t load an old game save, I had to do it already way to many times because of other bugs and it’s getting really frustrating to play this game.
just to let you guys know, when you try to load old save, somehow bugs from current save carry over to the old one, the only way to fix that is to Quit your game first and then load back into the game and load old save from the Main menu.
I had extremely pixelated rain and could not see anything, i tried to load old save and it had pixelated rain too even though it was fine earlier. Then i quit the game and loaded old save from the main menu which fixed everything.
