So far the only piece of horse equipment i can repair is the caparison which can be brought to a tailor. Has anyone figured out how to repair horse armor, bridles, or saddles?
Saddle from the stablemaster (where you buy horses).
Horsehoes & armor (not sure about the latter) from blacksmiths.
Caparison from tailors.

I can buy a new saddle and bridle from the stablemasters but they don’t give me an option to repair either. It would be stupid if I had to buy a new 2k saddle or bridle every time they broke…

Try unequipping from the horse and taking it in your own inventory but I remember repairing it somewhere 
I’ve tried leaving the saddle and bridle equipped, putting them in my inventory, and leaving them in the horses inventory and I haven’t gotten the option to repair it from any of the different merchants or stablemasters. Its pretty frustrating.

I would also like to know where to repair the Saddle and Bridal. I have asked both in this forum and on discord and so far, nobody seems to know, or they just guess. Most people say to find the horse NPC’s, but none of them can repair anything.
Maybe the patch fucked it up?
This was from release version to before 1.2.5 as I haven’t got home from work to update to 125

I looked everywhere and I believe there isn’t an option yet to repair horse gear, but everything seems to be in place to complete that mechanic.
Any chances to fix this? even on current 1.3.3 version horse equipment cannot be repaired by player or blacksmith, the solution seems to buy new horse equipment from time to time, but repair features needs a fix.
There is no option in the game at this time ( that I have found in my 2 playlines ) to repair the saddle and other horse equipment, besides the caparison.
Exactly the same problem here. Seems no way at all to repair horse shoes and saddles … tried blacksmiths, horse dealers, …
Unequipped from horse and moved to inventory but still no option to have it repaired.

It doesn’t change it’s stats so it’s pointless, a sadly carries a certain amount of weight and doesn’t lower because it degrades, same with horse shoes, there is no point in fixing them.
That is true, but then the condition stat should be removed from the game for horse related equipment. Seems more like an oversight by the devs to me, at this point.

With my horse and PC both reduced in weight to be no where near the capacity of my horse my character rides super slow and glitchy. I’ve bought a new saddle, 5th one purchased now.
I’ve even deleted 3 other games off the hard-drive just to make this one have no excuse but to perform better. I’ve been waiting for a realistic RPG with no magic junk for years.

I hope they fix horse gear in next patches, ability to repair gear or penalties if is damaged, considering it as armor equipment, seems a bug to me or incomplete feature.
Someone once said this was a finished game. Why can horse gear break but there does not seem to be an option to repair? And no negative buffs? I mean come on.
the game is clearly not finished. there are a lot more indications of that than just the horse eq.
The cobbler in Sasau can repair the Horse saddle. You have to put it into your inventory first.
