yep same here just got money no saddle and my race horse stay for rest of the game on talmberk crossroad

Same here. Got grochen but no saddle. I figured since I was full inventory from a fight along the way that it would automatically send the saddle to my storage but I did some digging around the web and seems to be a common problem regardless of circumstance. Some have received money, others have gotten nothing.

Just finished the quest, got groschens and a promise of a saddle. Never saw the saddle though…
This could be because you’re on the wrong horse.
You can race with only Zora’s horse!
Apparently, you can race with any horse, but you can complete the race only with Zora’s Dappled Grey.
I meant that. 
No I used Zora’s horse. Def not on the wrong horse.

I won the horse race! Yay me. Zora said to reward me I could have the “finest saddle in the land” but she didn’t give me the saddle , its not in her inventory and I can’t see one lying around. Oh well. This is on PS4. I don’t think I missed any dialogue so this might be a bug.
i’ve got it worse, i’ve won the race due to “others didn’t show up” and i’m insta crashing after i leave talmberg

Reload. they got hung up somewhere. If you won because you had no competition you didn’t really lose much.
That being said I’m super glad mine worked OK and I got my saddle LOL.
When Zdenka gives me the saddle I get an instant crash no matter what…
hi vasiliev, i had a same issue, the game crashed twice just after the dialogue with zdeha, but third attempt worked…i got the saddle and quest completed…

I’ve tried about 20 times with different circumstances, like completing other tasks, turning off mods, waiting few days and even completing the Talmberg Horse Race one more time
