The Ending Made Me Lose all the Good Will I Had For War Horse (Spoilers)

Word is WH plans to make up for their wrong doings and give us a free dlc - whether it be the next act or something else…

They said DLC first, then 2nd game. 2nd game is going to be far away in the future.

FREELC is for backers, however I think they’ll do smaller DLCs to add a few things like blacksmithing & shiee fo’ free.

Really not sure much of what a DLC can be for this game. I would think it would be a map extension - perhaps it will be an extension specifically where Henry is heading. However what else would a major DLC include?

Smithing & other professions and what they advertised in the kickstarter.

But is that not considered make-up

Blacksmithing and dog companions for sure.

People speak of a woman dlc… I say heathens.

How many wenches does one need?

Edit: This should be asked to Hans, the biggest man whore around. 2nd to the King.

As in a playable story of a female character. (not Henry’s story)

If this was so I’d enlist myself as a bathhouse wench and make serious coin

it does feel like it’s missing an act 3
maybe they’ll add the content later? but as of whole i spent 90 hours on my first playthrough and had a heck of a time
can’t really sad anything bad about the ending, the reunion with your blacksmith parents in a dream was something special
but as to the “conclusive” ending, it feels lacking

Just one question, when you have completed main story and join Sir Hans squad to finish the game, after that you can still re-load back to save before that to continue playing right? I mean I know I can just continue on the save then just go to Sir Hans when you are done with the save but… I have played the entire game as where it makes sense you do the main mission right now I do it, and when it makes sense you have more time I use the time to explore, side missions etc. So I just would like to end like that to with this but not if that means that save is over for good with no re-load older save… :stuck_out_tongue:

Pre release they claimed the game would be released in a finished state and they had abandoned the 3 act development strategy. What that actually meant is they developed the first act, said that was enough, then will release the actual conclusion of the story. Very misleading phrasing from a game that was Kickstarted by players. I won’t buy another product from them because of bad business practices like this.

I have to disagree. The ending was mishandled and unearned. None of your decisions effected the narrative in the slightest bit.

Even before spoilers, as soon as Radzig took Henry on, I figured out that he was Henry’s father. Was sort-of an obvious twist imho

The game is historically accurate. Women didn’t hold places of power and were never enlisted in the military in 15th century Bohemia.

Nobody said she’ll be a fighter, it’s a stretchgoal, the woman DLC was confirmed before release pretty much.

Maybe just a satisfying conclusion to the quest you were given at the beginning of the game?

because Henry is a fictional character
everyone else is straight from the history books, so they have to make it small scale in order not to re-write history like most AAA companies does

you’re not the hero of Feraldan, or the dragon born, you’re a blacksmith apprentice who’s secretly a Lord’s bastard son doing all sorts of wetworks for him
i know it’s disappointing, but remember the direction of authenticity and historical accuracy
