Not many Taliban soldiers riding Abrams tanks The RPGs made in the Czech Republic are extremely cheap compared to what kind of destructive force they deliver on lightly armored target / Taliban infantry hiding behind mud walls. Not to mention the huge surpluses from we still have from the time we used to have the largest army compared to population in the world…
As far as I know Ukrainians didn’t receive any mortars. The closest they got to mortar technology are artillery radars.
Anyways, Ukrainian army was being fucked by their own politicians for 25 years. They have a good chance in changing this. In about 3 years they can be a force the be reckoned with also by the Russians. If EU and US keep the sanctions and provide Marshall plan to Ukraine, we can be looking at a very different situation in a couple of years.
The people on the ground seem not to be missing what it takes to do the job. If their officers (general staff) gets on par with the resolve of front-line soldiers, they will stand their ground effectively.
And I can stop thinking whether I will need to get a gun and go fighting Russians in Tallinn one day… (because I ain’t gonna fight them in Prague)

The “shoot-the-shit-out-of-Taliban” standard are old RPGs I believe. But yeah, there are newer versions much more capable of penetrating modern armor. We won’t know how capable they really are until Ukrainians get some to test them on Russian armor. And that seems, sadly, quite unlikely.
