No one can escape it when it happens. You will be fucked, maybe not as bad as me but still you’ll be fucked

No you’re just taxed out the ass for it. That’s as dumb as saying you get “free” games for paying for xbox live and psn.

We’ve gotten along just fine without it for all 200+ years of our existence.

Meh i find our tax money goes to a shit ton more worthless things. Fun fact all NFL (national football league) stadiums are payed for by tax payer money  Is that not the biggest load of horse shit you’ve ever heard?

Anyway as you’ve pointed out several times even our closet allies hate us and wish death upon us so i would prefer to keep our military strength at its current level. As much as i would like it we’re in to deep to go back to isolationism. We have far too many enemies so cutting our military wouldn’t help us.

yes we have to pay what is called national insurance but that is not just for healthcare . that covers your pension , education system , any mertainity leave you have , healthcare and a few other bits so very little actually goes to the healthcare .
and that is all 2% of your income so not a alot at all so most people in the UK pay 22% tax

That’s great and all but your health care is still not free. If it was free none of your tax money would go to it.

Again ill compare it to what console peasants say. They always claim they get free games each month even though they’re paying 60 a month for them…

Oh and if hardly any money goes to your healthcare then it must just be awful.

they are under budgeted at the moment but thats down to the sheer levels of immigration

Well the British system may be good with dealing with things like a broken leg, but when anything really serious happens that needs a modern care, not only do you need to go to countries like the Czech Republic to get the most modern care, but you even have to fight your way through the courts to be able to do so.

@TheDivineInfidel

I think it is time for you to start praying and accept your share of responsibility for what you did. I’d suggest you find yourself an Iraqi to share a flat with before your goverment gives you one. You still have time to choose!

Same kinda thing happens in America. A lot of Canadians will come here for medical treatment mostly surgery.

This talks a lot about British health care and why a lot of Canadians are forced into going to the U.S for treatment.

id disagree with that . yes there are cases where the NHS are recalculate to fund certain treatments like the one you sourced but this is often greatly down to the doctor in charge of your case as to how he thinks it will help . in that case the doctor said the proton treatment wouldnt have much effect (now shown to be totally wrong ) .

but generally the actual treatment you receive from the NHS is very very good in my experience HOWEVER where our problem lies is ultimately down to immigration . the NHS is simply under resourced to deal with the work load put on it due to our rapidly growing population . so wait times for an operation or even a broken leg are fucking ages A&E is a minimum of 4 hours easy . and for a major operation you are likely looking at a year plus waiting list .

our other issue is after treatment care for example my nan went into hospital for an operation on her hip . the op when perfectly and we were seeings a massive improvement in her mobility that was until she was made to sit in a hospital ward for 4 weeks because the doctor and nurses simply had to many patients under them so the process of the after checks took ages and by the end of it her hip was fucked again due to lack of movement and we were back to square one .

each nurse is generally doing the work load of about 5 so thats our problem the actual treatment is excellent though

Goddamnitfuck. Please tell @TheDivineInfidel me that this is not true:

Recently, he had to use his own ultrasound equipment — typically used to
examine pregnant sheep — to check the hernia himself and determine if
it was getting worse.

Communist Czechoslovakia actually modeled its healthcare after the UK in 1960s. It has been reformed since we got rid of communism, but still, cudos to UK for having been the example for the universal healthcare.

no thanks  we are taking like none haha

our healthcare is simply over loaded thats the root of all its problems .

Well you can’t get the treatment I linked in UK at all. UK simply doesn’t have that level of healthcare technology.

They can calculate all they want but in the end they will have to send you to US or Czech Republic to have the treatment done.

id very much doubt that . that is true if it had been true it would be headline news here for weeks

incorrect . we are building a centre currently but wont be finished for a couple of years . we have the tech just not the platform

It is on page 2 of the forbes article linked by @SirWarriant.

Truth to be told we would be entirely fucked without doctors from Slovakia and nurses from Ukraine.

id sill question it . sounds way to extreme . its certainly not that bad . he would of been able to quite easily go into hospital and complain about the amount of pain and he would of been x-rayed there and then

That’s like saying that Czechs have the tech for high speed railway just not the platform. Very fucking helpful, I will think of that the next time my train goes meager 160kph instead of the 300kph I used to go in Germany.

you cant compare with us though our population growth is out of control

the average population growth in europe is 0.34 a year our for thr last decade has been 0.7 per year every year give or take a little

That’s horrible. I could get an appointment for a broken leg in around 45 minutes. That sounds like the VA hospitals in America where veterans are refused treatment and are dying. But our civilian hospitals function just fine aside from them refusing to acknowledge some diseases.
