if you went into A&E with a broken leg and you were in clear pain you would be put to the front of the line and sorted quickly .
the way they do it is they put you out of pain quickly then send you to another room where you wait for a doctor . how long you wait is simply down to the injury
I have plenty of older family members who have had to get surgery like that and they wait a few weeks tops depending on how serious their condition is. Pretty much you go to the doctors they find out you need knee surgery then a week later operate on you. How ever if you showed up with a serious condition you would be operated on immediately.
yes thats the way it should be but its not here down to to many fucking immigrants . alot of people here also have private care through their jobs so alot use that private cover for major ops in which case still costs them nothing and then the waiting list is like a month
We actually had 1.0 in 2008. In this regard, the economic crisis has really saved us. We are among top destinations when it comes to population ratio, especially because we are so popular in Ukraine and Vietnam.
I think that the main difference is that we are easy on work visas and hard on permanent residency. Once the immigrants don’t have jobs here, they need to go, as it happened in 2009-2010. Which makes it really comfortable for politicians since immigrants are the first ones to lose the jobs once the economy gets tough but are back fast enough to keep the business owners happy once it gets going.

That is not entirely true since our top immigrant group is Slovaks. Poles are also quite numerous, so are Bulgarians. But otherwise yeah, I will take a budhist Vietnamese or Orthodox Ukrainian over what you are getting any day.
The only kind of waiting list we have here is for organ transplants.
So basically this guy was a complete shit head who was in and out of jail and a just a thug. So the hospital denied him a heart transplant because they wanted to give it to someone who wasn’t a piece of shit. So this had been the policy of the hospital for a while but since he was black the hospital had to put him at the front of the list.
So he got his new heart and what did he do with it? He stole a car shot at an old lady and died while in a high speed police chase when he ran into a telephone pole. So there’s a good heart wasted that could have gone to someone more deserving.
Gotta love that Black privilege.
My friend works as anesthesiologist at one of the top Czech (and European) organ transplant facilities.
One of the worst things that could happen to them was when the helmets were made obligatory for children on bikes in the Czech Republic. The flow of young and perfectly suitable organs stopped from month to month.
