There is a difference between supporting protest against the police and between seeing your neighborhood being burned down. And it takes only very small minority to start burning things down.
And again, we are not talking about buying a CZ 75 Czechmate for €5.000, we are talking about buying whatever gets the job done - with the job being mainly (and hopefully only) making the bad guys go the other way without actual shots being fired.

Well firstly, from what I’ve read they are ransacking not that poor neighborhood. It seems that the shenanigans are mainly happening in part where decent hard working (although not wealthy) people live.
And if you were right, maybe I just can’t imagine this level of poverty. In my mind these people somehow manage to get a flat screen and Xbox and alcohol in between of food stamps so getting a double barrel shotgun should not be a problem neither.

Blending in the with American people would be no help what so ever in any future conflict we might be in from a war in Ukraine to a war with China or another war in the middle east. They’re training for an American conflict.
First of all most of the looters aren’t gang members they’re just the citizens of the town. Second of all neither me or @snejdarek said we were going to play vigilante. I said if i had a store or restaurant and things were being looted it would be down there with a fire arm making sure those assholes stay away. A few guys guarded a gas station in Ferguson with ar-15s and pistols and the place was never touched.

[/quote] part of training . special forces have to be trained to blend into a population and gather intel or commit sabotage the most realistic way of doing that sort of training is by using the local population or wont have any idea when the training unit is deployed . if they can pick out the operatives then the unit has big issues .

[/quote] wrong actually its a technique used very very frequently . special forces often in afgan dress as civilians in the long gowns and beards allowing them to get closer to a target before being spotted . its a practiced used almost daily .
never once said you were i was speaking on a broad sense of why concealed carry wouldnt help here.

We have the national guard for that we don’t need the fucking military helping with riots.
And they speak the language and have an accent good enough to pass suspicion? There’s a difference between simply listening and seeing if you can speak with the local population with long conversations without them knowing you’re an outsider.
indeed and when a operation requires such a skill to gain access through checkpoint etc the operative has to be able to confidently communicate with the individual manning the checkpoint . its not so much the language its more body language how they conduct themselves which is the focal point.
you could sound perfect for that area but if your body language is a bit odd you’re going to raise an eye brow .
its a skill that every special operations soldier has to be spot on with . it should be bread and butter for them but it has to be practiced and the opportunity to do it with real civilians is extremely useful .
the ability to act calm and “normal” in a potently life threatening situation .
you’re seeing what you want to see in what the military is doing as long as you look at in that way you will find some sort of fault in it that seems to back up your point but all such points are quite easily explained
